win a lenovo A70z. (contest closed.)

The winner has been chosen and notified! Thank you for all of your entries! Be sure to check out and enter the other giveaways running through the 23th here.

I have been assigned the task to give a computer away to one of you lovely people.

(Actually I’m one of twenty…for all of the other chances to win please check this list here…)

Allow me first to tell you about the computer in my own “I don’t speak geek” words.

It’s a Lenovo ThinkCentre A70Z all in one desktop. Which means it sits on your desktop and everything is all in one. No speakers, no tower, no separate screen. So how much space does it take up? Hardly any. How hard was it to set up? Not at all.

Seriously. Unboxed it, plugged it in, turned it on. That’s it. I don’t even wish I were kidding because it was that easy.

Now many of you know I’m a Mac living in a houseful of PC’s. Well. Laptop PC’s. This is our first desktop in, oh, seven years. And yo, at this price point (under $600) desktops have come a long fabulous way.

The other thing I could get all kissy faced over (you know, if it didn’t feel as though I was kissing my really gross first cousin) Windows 7. It kind of works really well. All those commercials? They aren’t lying. And considering Windows and I broke up during his experimental Vista phase? I believe he’s a changed OS and I’m willing to let him back into my life.

Another thing Lenovo does (at least as far as I can tell…) upon startup it gives you a menu of all the services you can choose to download. They’re not preinstalled, which means there’s no obnoxious uninstall. You want skype? Okay! INSTALL! (Also? Built in webcam FTW!) but don’t really love the idea of having ICQ on there? Just say no thank you and it goes away.

I’m going to say it. Windows 7 works like a Mac OS. It’s like the red headed step child of a Mac OS. Cute enough to keep around, that’s for sure.

The Lenovo entered my life after my macbook left mine. By way of a five year old knocking it onto the floor. The first thing I did with the new Lenovo? Download every flickr picture I have ever uploaded and save them onto an external hard drive. I could almost hear the Lenovo grunting “Oh yeah? 7,000 pictures? BRING IT! Let’s see your Macbook do THAT!”

In a perfect world the Lenovo A70z would be hanging on the wall in my kitchen (YES! YOU CAN HANG IT ON THE WALL!) and it would serve as the world’s greatest recipe book. Not to mention that ever since launching a little photography business on the side (which has blown up in the best possible way thank you!) having a dedicated computer to handle all the boring (but needed) work stuff has been a life saver.

Say what you want about the Mac vs. PC wars, no one can handle a good spreadsheet like the A70z up there in the man cave (also known as the office in our house.)

So here’s where the giveaway part comes into play. Tell me how a good reliable space saving computer like the Lenovo A70z could help take your business to the next level, be it something as simple as a family blog to the next great etsy store we’re all going to have to have something from. What do you wish your computer could do now that would make your life easier?

I will pick one winner randomly from all eligible entries, and by eligible I mean you put thought into it. None of this “I like computers and need a new one” crap. Okay?

the fine print.

Rules & Regulations: U.S. citizens and Canadians welcome! mooshinindy.com and Lenovo are not responsible for any lost packages or incorrect shipping addresses. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. Approximate value of prizes may vary.

As compensation for this review and giveaway I did receive a free Lenovo ThinkCentre A70z for use in my home. The opinion of the machine is purely my own.

Comments off.

After starting a newspaper in our hometown this year a new computer would definitely be amazing for our business!

We are primarily Mac users too, but having this for the office (on the wall!!!) to work on layout might be a game changer.

Uhm do you even know what I could DO if I could hang my computer on the wall? WHERE MY TODDLER COULD NOT REACH IT?! I feel a little faint. Deep breath. I love the idea of hanging a computer in the kitchen for recipes! I have snatched most of my best dishes from blogs. And let’s face it, I do most of my writing standing up in the kitchen anyway (see: STICKYFINGERED TODDLER).

I wish my computer would just work properly. It is new, but does ridiculous things like lock up Picasa and the wireless internet connection seizes up and holds the entire computer hostage on a regular basis. When I see the Windows 7 commercials I laugh, partly because they are funny and mostly because Windows NEEDS to work like that! So a computer that is easy and just works like the commercials would make my life (personally and professionally) so.much.easier.

Halala Mama Reply:

@Halala Mama,Oh, and the hanging on the wall thing, about eye level away from my two year old who thinks its sole purpose is to replay the Baby MacDonald video over and over ad nauseum would be fab.

This would be awesome for homeschooling. I mean, it would be awesome for the whole photography thing, I do, but my first thought was AWESOME new-age chalkboard!

Hanging on the wall??? That’s awesome!

Between my church work and my photography work and 3 kids, I am constantly trying to use my laptop while keeping it safe from spilled milk, tears, falls, and various kid accidents. I would love to have it on the wall!

And no more Vista??? I hate Vista!

i am working on a book and starting i’m finding that my writing style for writing a book is quite different than when writing anything else. having a computer that i can hang on the wall so i can see it while i pace around my room trying to find the right words would be amazing.

Well, truth be told, I’m a PC lover living in a Mac household. I use WORD quite often and I’m much more proficient in the PC version, so that alone would bring me a few more minutes in a day. I do have a dinosaur PC in the house that would be nice to replace. Those towers are huge.

It would be awfully nice to have something that fit tidily into our tiny little apartment. Especially something hard to break.

I am typing this from a lenovo laptop! The reason I would like to win is because I’m starting to take my photography hobby to a new level, and I’m photographing more and more of my friends’ kids. HOWEVER, I fear for my little laptop’s ability to keep up with all of the photo storing, editing, and sorting that I do. I’d love a new computer to use for my photography stuff… perhaps someday (soon!?!) I’ll have enough clients and interest to be a “real” photographer?? I can hope!

My Mum would love this. Her laptop is old and horrible and she would love a big beautiful screen…as well as the simplicity of it all as she has only a small desk and that is taken up with big books as she is working on school things this summer. I am glad to hear Windows 7 is pretty good…I am a mac girl myself so it is nice to know pc’s are coming along. :o )

We’re headed into ANOTHER year of John in school and both of us working. The Lenovo would be a great reason for me to have NO excuses for keeping my blog up more often. We’re headed into trying to adopt or fostering to adopt, so having an updated blog is an important part of that process.

In other ‘how this would help my job” news… They’re moving me to third grade this year (have taught first for 6 years). This would be a huge asset to researching materials and new smartboard lessons to use to teach my students. I’m so nervous!

So jealous, this looks amazing!

I wish I had a space saver like this in my office/craft/knitting room. I’d hang it on the wall and be able to use my entire desk to craft as I read/watch online instructions. Some people close to me are trying to encourage me to put up some goodies on Etsy. I just lack the space to do so much more!

I’d love to give this to my father. He’s got a PC so antiquated it can only get on the internet “accidentally” (true story: it won’t respond to having an ethernet cable OR to his password-protected wireless — it’ll only connect if it accidentally snags unprotected wireless somewhere). It’s his work computer so, technically, they should help him replace it, but the church where he works (he’s a pastor) is on a spending freeze, so they can keep ministries like the food bank afloat.

I’m realizing this sounds very Hallmark-y, and I don’t mean for it to. He’s just extremely hard working and extremely committed to doing the right thing for others – I’d love for him to have something that makes his life and work a tiny bit easier, and I’d love for him to have something that’s a pleasant surprise, a treat.

I really wish my computer had a little tool to scan my brain for important dates to put on my calendar. No matter how hard I try, I always miss something!

Wow! This could definitely help my husband. He’s in school for nursing, & he’s currently using a 6 year old Mac. We love it, but it’s scary not knowing if it’ll last until he finishes school- in 3 years!

I love your idea of putting it in the kitchen to hold all the recipes. That is definitely what I would do with this–put it on our little desktop in the kitchen (right now it’s too small for any computer). Then I would take some time and get all my recipes in one place on this baby. Better yet, whenever I need to look up a recipe on AllRecipes.com, I can leave it up on the screen rather than wasting paper printing it out or writing it down! It would be so eco-friendly!

This would be great for my husband to use to teach his online classes (second job). Although he is looking at a Mac Book to replace our old laptop that is too slow to make teaching on line classes worth the money. If he goes with the Mac Book and we won the lenovo- I’d gladly put it to use for my family photos and our blog and the kids would play PBS kids on it and watch their net flix (we don’t have any “real” TV in the sticks where we live.

[...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by mooshinindy. mooshinindy said: Did I tell you I'm giving away a computer? BECAUSE I AM. http://bit.ly/cz0Rab #A70z [...]

Amazing! And I thought I had seen it all and my computer in my office is only about a year old, but here is where this computer would be a life saver for me!
Right now I’ll admit my husband and I have this issue with me being in the office on the other side of our house ALOT, due to the fact that I’m a blogger, I’m obsessive with checking analytics and I like scanning my twitter every so often (ok like every few minutes). But having something like this, I could hang it in my kitchen where the whole family hangs out near the family room and walking by to make a quick click to say “hello” to the world wide web, just may cut down on some recent tension about computer use in the house. Plus, he just might think it’s cool enough and we can share it :o )
Very cool computer and awesome giveaway!

My husband just started a consulting business so this would totally help take the pressure off our three year old laptop. Then he could use that just for travel, and this computer would stay at the office. All sleek new and shiny? YES PLEASE!

I’m a graphic designer who can’t design, and a new computer would make that possible. It would provide the missing income that my fiancé and I need to pay for our wedding, and to move out of our apartment and neighborhood that constantly depress us.

It would help me give new parents cute announcements to show off even the squishiest of newborns to the world, in style. A new computer would basically make my life a heck of a lot easier, and would help me bring more pretty into the world. Check it.

I DO have a Mac(Book), and man, with as many photos and videos as I take on my travels (for work), it just can’t keep up. So I wish I had a computer that was a) faster, b) had a better database and c) could handle the amount of information I put into it! Vital for a travel journalist, I’d say!

This is so exciting! My computer runs very, very hot, which I know is its way of saying, “Hello, I will be vacating your life in the near future.” Boo. This is very depressing. I’ve just graduated college and I use my computer regularly to update my resume, apply for jobs, keep in touch with references, etc. It’s a major asset in my life, and I have a ton of student loans to pay back so buying a new machine is toootally not in the cards. This would be a huge help in the Becoming a Big Girl department! (I mean, I guess if I’m calling it that, I’m still lightyears behind in adulthood… but ya know.)

I have been in a serious relationship with my Mac for many years. But the the thought of cheating on my Mac with that Lenovo makes me tingle with excitement. No more sharing with teenagers on Facebook and having toddlers crying over my blogging shoulder to play on playhouse Disney. Go ahead, hit me with the win!

I wish my laptop had a “g” key and a “ctrl” key. Really. My laptop doesn’t have either of them.

Surely this new computer would have those two keys?

Hey, if I got rid of my tower I could, I don’t know, have space to file things. Why I’d do that, I just don’t know…though maybe then I’d stop getting angry letters from people to whom I owe money. It’s a thought.

I simply wish my computer was built to last longer and not wear out right at the appropriate time for the latest and greatest release (that I find so hard to resist, although I did get last years iMac this past March.

OMG I want this. It will help me play Frontierville.

I wish we had a computer that my husband could use. He is a writer and we have to share a computer, which leads to lots of arguments and late nights thanks to splitting time!

It would help us tremendously because we are a Mac household, but my husband’s work is all PC based. And the only PC we have is a 10 year old laptop that, if you don’t hold the screen at EXACTLY the right angle, doesn’t display anything at all. The screen stays completely black.

And since my husband is a pediatrics resident, basically a new computer will save lives. Tiny, tiny lives.

Or you know, something a lot less dramatic.

I have a computer with Vista on it (boo) Nothing works right! Grrrr AND I have to share it with my computer loving kids! They LOVE to push the off button and ruin all my projects whenever they can! If I had a new computer (with a tower with a nice bright glowing off button, floor level) I could give the older (vista- boo) to the kids for their school, games, homework, etc…. and have the Window’s 7 blessing for my self, my blog, vlogging, crafts, email, esty store etc…!!! LOVE IT!

I could use this, since I am about to move out on my own for the first time! I have an ancient laptop that dictates her work hours on her own terms. My life would be so much easier if I could create worksheets/activities for my students without my computer deciding it is done for the day. There is nothing like a computer that shuts off whenever it wants, so please help me out!

This is perfect. Not only do I LIKE computers, but I also NEED a new one!

Seriously, though, I have lots of reasons to need a new computer.

1. I’m in school and I have to do buttloads of writing assignments. It would be helpful to be able to type on a keyboard with all its keys.

2. I have a blog called “Jill can blog.” my blog name would be more truthful if I actually had a, you know, keyboard with all its keys.

3. I love this computer’s ability to be mounted on the wall. Keeping computers far away from my children helps my things to stay nice and functioning. Did I mention my keyboard is missing keys?

4. we live in a tiny apartment. We need to save all the space we can. My sister and I have a few business ideas we are working on so that we can stay home with our kids, and since all our business ideas are centered on the computer, it makes perfect sense to have a reliable, Space saving computer in our hands (I mean on our wall).

Well, this would be fabulous because my husband’s super old laptop is about to die. I am using mine all the time at night for my photography business and that leaves him with nothing to do his work on. He has a Mac from school, but it doesn’t do all the other things he needs to do.
Plus, my computer is a desktop so this would be something we could take when we go visit the in-laws in the summer and then we both could continue to work (sharing, gasp!) while there rather than putting everything on hold for a month.

Are you kidding me? I organize home offices (and non home offices as well) and this will make so many people so very happy.

personally, I also would love love love it in the kitchen!

Okay…here it is…one computer…three people sharing it. Doesn’t work!

My husband, my daughter and I really need our own computers so that we can be free to do whatever we like with our computer time! No more waiting until he or she gets done so that you can finally get a moments time on the thing!

Also, I like to complete photo projects at online photo services and enter sweepstakes (!). A faster computer would help tremendously maximize my time while at the computer!

sazzyfrazz(at)gmail(dot)com

My daughter is a single Mom going back to college for her decree to teach elementary school, she will graduate at the end of the 2011 school year. She had a laptop that was stolen from her car last spring and now has to either come to our house or go to the library to do her assignments. I wanted to give her mine…but that was vetoed. I do wish we had a other computer to give her and make everyone’s life around here easier. Thanks for the opportunity!

OMG. I so need something other than my laptop for my continued photography. And with it being wall mountable, I could hang it within eye level as a display frame for my work as well!

This computer can help to streamline my orders of orthotics for my company. With a faster, more user friendly computer, my orders, design needs and organizational needs will all be taken care of with the best of technology.

As a struggling graphics designer, a space saving computer like the Lenovo A70z would give me a nice boost in productivity and organization. Even though I do a lot of my work on the computer, I still prepare my ideas on paper, so keeping my desk spacious is a plus with an all-in-one. I wish my computer could work as hard as I do, because it gets a little poky from time to time. The Lenovo A70z looks like a solid performer, and I’d love to be fortunate enough to win.

My mom and I are starting our own buisness{jewelry} and this space saving computer would come in handy because my desk top is old and ginourmous and it doesn’t work all that great, it is slow, works when it wants etc.
I could imagine all of the pictures, spreadsheets and contacts that we could keep up on with this beauty!
I am also a full time student getting my masters in nursing so this would be great for school work, I could put my books down and not have to worry about the big heavy thing on the side!
Thank you for the opprotunity!

Running a small computer repair business out of my apartment room definitely means that space is a necessity. Having these problems, I’ve switched all my repair machines to laptops in order to save not only on space, but on power consumption. The A70z would be a great addition(maybe even replacement) to my repair machines since it’s got the power of a desktop with what appears to be a power usage of only a high end laptop.
Hope I win!

My husband often needs to work from home, and this has been difficult on our ancient Dell. He would finally have a decent computer to do this! And with our baby arriving in about a month (August 7), working from home may be a more common occurrence!

We are a family of four living in a small cramped apartment. This would really be great for us to save space. Our ancient Dell is getting to close to it’s end and I lost my job a month ago so this computer would be much appreciated.

I’m a photographer. My sad little laptop’s screen is all messed up. The colors aren’t true and it’s a crap shoot how my pictures actually look! I’m always a bit shocked to see my shots from another computer.

So yeah. I think a new computer could help me out.

I have tears in my eyes I hope to win this so hard. That lovely computer would literally change my business life because right now I’m freelance writing and blogging and editing photos on only my HP Mini. And sometimes my iPhone. I’ll let that sink in.

I’m definitely looking for a new computer in just that price range (or cheaper, or like free if I win!)

Adventures In Babywearing Reply:

@Adventures In Babywearing, not sure if it’s allowed to add to my comment, but I’m mostly wishing my current computer could allow me to edit photos on a larger scale, with more storage.

Steph

My 3 year old is super creative…(definitely gets that form his dad!) My husband has been teaching him photoshop. I have been thinking for while about creating a blog to showcase his artwork and possibly helping him create a business. Is 3 too young to become an entrepreneur? ha ha. This computer would be a great way to continue his art education!

We just moved because my husband started a new job. We had to downsize houses and computer desks. Now we a dorky little fold out table with about 1000 cords hanging underneath it. How amazing would this little beauty look just about anywhere!!! I wouldn’t even mind sitting at the computer to pay bills (like those annoyingly huge school loans that are haunting me from my husband’s education). It would just make the business of having a large family run better!

Wow! Thank you for doing this amazing giveaway! This computer would change my life because I just passed my comprehensive exams (I am an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. student studying English, History, and Art History) and I am about to begin work on my dissertation. I can’t even imagine what a pleasure it would be to write on such a wonderful computer!

I’m also trying to start a photography business…kinda…sorta. In my spare time. When I can wrestle my laptop away from the kids. Another computer in the house would be awesome.

I have pretty limited desk space and being able to hang the computer on the wall in front of my desk would give me more space for documents. Plus, replacing my old sluggish computer with a computer that boots so quickly and runs efficiently would definitely boost my productivity. Thanks for the chance to win!

It would be nice to have 2 computers in the house. So I could do my blog stuff while my 5 year old played Hannah Montana for the 1000 time that day.

I think computer wise I’m looking for something that could be mounted in my bedroom to watch movies on. So this fits the bill wonderfully!

The fun answer is that my friend Joyce bought an all-in-one IBM many years ago and I’ve been hearing ever since how great it is. She has sent me the URL several times. They don’t make them any more.
The serious answer is that my job requires me to be on Skype all day. My 3 year old laptop has better sound quality than the old desktop I was using before, but I still have to listen to people complain all day that they are getting an echo, and hanging up on me because they can’t hear me. I’m sure all the RAM in this would make it sound a lot better. My job pays very little so I can’t buy a new computer. Also, the laptop I have is 3 years old and the monitor stopped working a few weeks ago so I have to keep it plugged into an external monitor which is awkward. I have to have the laptop on my lap and the monitor on the desk so I can see the monitor. It is hot and my cat sits on the desk so I can’t see the lower part of the screen, like right now.

I love my laptop, but I’ve been getting eyestrain from looking at the monitor at a bad angle. Throw in typing out an entire book on a laptop keyboard and well, it’s not exactly fun. I live in the cloud, but a desktop would be easier on my hands and eyes.

Our desktop is dying a slow, painful death. And, it’s just slow. I would love a replacement for my desktop that has some speed and storage. We need a consolidated place to store photos and back-up important documents.

Ive been using the my old CRT monitor and its not great looking to say the least. I have bunch of photo i save on my computer. It was be nice to see the glorious picture on the Lenovo

Honestly, I do not own a business, or have a blog. I do a lot of “contests” and a new space saving, clean up the clutter machine, would make it possible to take the machine to the rec room. Very little desk space needed.

I’ve been a devoted Lenovo user for about 6-7 years — specifically, using the ThinkPad laptop. This past fall when I needed to buy a new laptop, my design friends were telling me to cut the crap and go Mac but I still stuck with them. The brand has delivered for me!

But for my graphic design work, I realllly could use a bigger screen.

And this cute little space saving unit is a far cry from the huge monitor I had as part of my last desktop system.

Well, let’s see. Being the crafty person that I am, I would def. hang it on the wall in the kitchen. Maybe even from the cabinets. It would be an useful, in that I would be able to look up craft ideas and check on other people’s blogs. Dare I say, I might even take the idea and run with it of creating my own crafty blog. I would then let all the world know just how crafty I am. ( maybe then I could use someone’s crochet hat pattern without the fear of jail time, lol) And if I may bribe the judge, I will make you something pretty with all the ideas that I find.

Lately, my computer is overheating. KIND OF A LOT. If I put my laptop on my lap, two days later I still have pink marks (the short answer is: Stop putting your laptop on your lap Sarah! You idiot! — but that’s a small fix to a big prob).

I work from home and need to be able to write, monkey with my pictures and be accessible. Probably won’t have much luck building my business using smoke signals. :)

It would help my take my getting busy business to the next level.

I use my work laptop for just about everything (yes, we all know that is bad). My SO has a desktop that is on its last legs.

He has been hinting that we need to get a new computer. We don’t have money. This causes stress in the relationship. Free computer? No stress in the relationship! (in regards to the computer anyway!). So it helps our getting busy business.

To me, desk space is everything. Working out of a small apartment hasn’t been easy. The area devoted to work often gets cluttered and causes accidental spilling of liquids. The Lenovo A70z might not be able to save the world, but it could help save me. Hanging on the wall would free up a lot of space and save me from worries of another accidental spill. It may even allow me to be more efficient at work and be able to afford a new apartment…

That is one fine looking machine. My husband, also a fine looking machine, is finishing his dissertation this year, which means he won’t be home…ever. BUT, if we could set up a nice little space for him- emphasis on little because our student townhouse is, well, little- perhaps we would see more of him. And perhaps it would help him get done what he needs to so that he can go out and conquer the world and whatnot. Also, it would be great for my blogging to have something out of reach from the kiddies. Pick me, pick me!!

I’m an educational advocate using a computer bought in 1999. It reboots itself all the time, making me lose the work that I’ve done but haven’t yet saved. As an advocate, I have to keep copious records of children’s test scores, report cards, IEPs, etc. and my current work computer is filled to the max with data. There is no more room, so a new computer that fits into a small space would be so helpful for the business.

Right now I have old Laptop and it is not enough for me and my wife :) A lot of time we spend in Internet and just can’t share this laptop. So if I win this Lenovo I think it could help to my wife to be connected with internet and also cook me something delisious without interupting her web surfing.

Simply being able to have a computer to myself, without having to negotiate with a teenager, would be bliss. I’m studying web design and it would be great to have a dedicated computer for just my work.

My daughter and I are doing the preliminary legwork to get our new social media management company up and running. This new computer will DEFINITELY come in handy! :-)

I wish that the family computer actually WORKED well enough for all six kids to be able to use it without aggravation. It’s slowly dying and frustrating all of us. It would make my life easier if I didn’t have to stop my very important work online (blog reading) and have to reset theirs all flippin’ day.

Oh, please, please pick me. I’m desperate here.

My wife and kids are hard on computers. We could start fresh with this one. If we mounted on the wall, we might save 30 set of fingerprints from being mashed all over the screen.

I’ve often longed to start up an East-Central Indiana genealogical research business on the side, and this computer appears as though it would work wonders for that kind of work! My more creative side would like to do more scrapbooking. I love traditional scrapping but have never tried digital. This computer looks up to that task! Thanks for a great give-away! :)

Well, I would be able to see my monitor for starters…I have this feline issue. They believe the best seat in the house is between my keyboard and my monitor! And one of them prefers to stand there and just look at me. But I would also love to have the extra room on the desk for project materials. I am prelaunch in a new business, and have a lot of forms I need to design. I need the room. Thanks!

I’m lucky to have a desktop Mac that makes my life ten times easier already, but if I won this contest I would give the computer to my parents in a heartbeat. They’re both using ancient laptops that allow them to go make a pot of coffee between page loads and I know they’d love to have an upgrade. My mom is starting her own purse business and could definitely use an awesome computer to get her started!

Now that my food blog is really taking off, I need a more powerful computer than my cheap laptop to upload, edit, and process my food porn, research new recipes, the list goes on and on. Also it would be nice to know where my computer is at all times, since my hubby tends to take the laptop to random places in the house.

OMG OMG!!! The computer I have now is my life. I work from home doing customer service and my little Dell does it all–it’s my Facebooker/Customer Servicer/Everythinger. My hard drive seemed huge when I bought it back in, god, I don’t even know, 2005? 80 gigs, baby! Now I have an external drive and have upgraded my RAM as far as it will go, which is..well, it’s not very far I’ll tell you that much. With a new machine I could work and play at the SAME TIME (just don’t tell my boss!) without getting those warnings telling me I’m running out of memory, and that I should just quit making the ol’ thing work so dang hard. Please please pick me. Please?

This time last year, I was getting ready to be a grad school (Nurse Anesthesia) widow. We survived through 2.75 semesters after moving 1006 miles away from both of our families and everyone that we know.
I found a decent job, which as a highlight will pay for *some* of my grad school, so I am starting in August in an online Masters program. When we saw these in Best Buy (while drooling over things that we can’t afford) the first thing that I thought was we have to put this on the way in the kitchen, it would let us know who is coming and going, who has clinical, who has online class at 7pm, so you will have to figure out dinner on your own, etc.

Plus, it is super sexy.

The hanging-on-the-wall thing would free up so much space in my kitchen. Our big computer is sitting on my “rolling” cart now, which means there is no rolling going on whatsoever.

oh fantastic! I am in need of an upgrade in my PC for my business, and I’ve been toying with the idea of a desktop of some kind. But space is always a consideration, especially because my ‘office’ is actually the corner of my kid’s playroom (so I can work & keep an eye on things at the same time. Motherhood = Multitasking!)

But, with a new baby coming, my new computer dreams are at the bottom of the list, heh. Which is okay. But it would be awesome to get this! :)

Oh my goodness! LOVE this computer! The desktop we have now is soooooooo s l o w that I can barely force myself to use it! I would love to actually be able to sit down, turn it on, and you know, do something on it within a couple of minutes, rather than pulling my hair out while waiting for it. And I’m pretty sure my job would prefer me to use my own computer rather than my work computer more often!

Oh gosh, that computer is beautiful. I don’t think I have ever seen aynthing like it except for a MAC obviously. But think of all the new desk space I would have! I’d have a lot more room in the 600 sq/ft apartment the Boyf and I share together… more “ME” space.

Having a snazzy computer like that would make the crafting for money go so much further! I could save the pictures of projects to put on etsy and also be able to track bids and such so much faster. Plus I could start the blog I have wanted to for about 3 years now. This computer looks AWESOME!!!

Hey I NEED one because I have just recently went back to school to finish my degree, and well all i have is this CRAPPY laptop, with keys missing (thanks 3 and 2 yr old daughters!) a sticky touch mouse pad, and no proper office program because we got a virus, had to rebot it or something and it wiped it off and we are too poor to buy a new one, so it makes doing school work GREAT!

I’m a photographer and album designer, and this computer would be so helpful in my business. I could also give my 10 year old his own computer so that there is not always Bakugan on mine, and start the blog site I’ve been wanting to start for years!

I got my first big girl (DSLR) camera a few months ago. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m figuring it out! The problem is that my computer acts like I’m trying to kill it anytime I transfer pictures over from the camera. Also, it runs at turtle speed whenever I try to use Photoshop ELEMENTS. I can’t even imagine what it would do with the full version of Photoshop that I have every intention of getting (whether the husband agrees or not!).
I also have 5 kids, so anything that takes up less space is a super big plus in our house!

My kids are currently using an old desktop with the tower and all it’s associated stuff. Not only would the all-in-one make their desk space infinitely more usable, but not having to deal with Vista? The OS that makes the computer incomprehensible to my kids? That would be worth it’s weight in gold.

Photography, blogging, running my etsy shop – honestly, I am on the computer way more than I’d like to admit! The PC we currently have is slow, slightly annoying and gives me hives because it likes to do fun things like not shut down properly and close programs with no warning. Having this computer would definitely take my business (all of them!) to the next level. Buying a new computer is not in the cards right now, so winning one would provoke a serious happy dance! :)

I’d love to win because I’m a college student. I had to take a year off after graduating high school because my father’s recent stroke had pretty much killed our finances. I had saved up plenty of money for a laptop, but financial aid didn’t cover up as much as I thought it would for tuition, and I had to use my savings. It’d be nice to not have to share a computer with the four other members of my family, especially since I have two online classes this fall.

This could help me simply by NOT taking 45 minutes to warm up. By the time my computer is ready to go, I’m ready for bed. My blog entries (that I haven’t written in months) would actually get, umm, written.

Wow, this would be AMAZING! At my house we have one laptop and two computer loving people wrestling over it ALL THE TIME! Since I spend most evenings on call (I work in health care), I need to be able to access a computer immediately to check on patient records- if my guy is in the middle of reading ESPN.com or the like, this causes some tension. Save me from tension, moosh! :)

An all-in-one computer would be great in my student dorms! I usually have to use campus computers to run my rather small online business! It provides enough to buy a couple boxes of ramen a month, but I could increase my business if I didn’t have to wait for a computer in the lab, and then wait some more for the cursor to move! Hope I win this computer!

The computer itself would be of great use to my unemployed/trying to become self employed graphic designer husband who can’t afford a Mac. And currently uses a PC that we fight over. Also we are in the process of renovating our home, one room at a time. This means throwing out the old and doing major decluttering. I really think this computer could be just what we need.

Oh, how I wish I had a computer to put in the kitchen so that I could have recipes at my finger tips. Also a desktop would be lovely so that I could have a dedicated workspace and not try to work cross-legged on the couch (I’m afraid of getting stuck).

I wish my company could provide us with a reliable space saving computer like the Lenovo A70z, allowing us more work space and storage space in our little cubicle. It’s better than a notebook because the screen is bigger and you don’t have to store it everyday when you leave your office.

First of all, I could hang this on the wall right above my desk and free up some space I haven’t seen in a decade. In my tiny apartment, that’s a real +plus+. Second, there’s a small local funeral home that wants to provide DVDs to clients to be used in services and as mementos. Having this snazzy new computer to replace my decade-old clunker (yes, I still have a CRT, can you believe it??) would allow me the opportunity to at least explore this potential part-time revenue venture.

As another Mac person, I must say that Apple came up with this all-in-one concept about 12 years ago and called it the iMac. ;) I have one of the flat panels and the only thing I don’t like about it is how deceivingly heavy it is…it doesn’t look like it should be that heavy but it is. Other than that, it works the same way you describe…unbox, plug in, turn on. <3

I would give this to my husband who is a IT student. He is in need of a new computer to use for school and with 2 kids and bills we just cant afford to get him one.

I’ve been thinking about a new computer, and this one looks really awesome. Space saving is fantastic – I love that in a desktop.

I would use it for my photography – as a beginner I’m learning a lot, but my computer is not quite up to par for handling the processing of all those big files.

A new computer would be SOOOOO WONDERFUL!! Currently my husband, two of my kids and myself are all trying to share the one computer we have now. It’s NOT good. Someone is always on it when someone else needs it. It would make my life so much easier having an additional computer. Maybe, I’d even get some peace & quiet…….with 3 kids, maybe not. :)

I wish my computer would open the internet in less than two minutes. It would also be nice if I could use photoshop without my computer treating it like a virus and freezing every.single.time it opens. Being able to edit photos in the comfort of my home would definitely make my life easier. For real.

Break out the tissues because this may truly be the saddest story of a death of a computer. Ever.
Like many people right now, our budget is tight and a new computer isn’t on the ‘needs’ list. My Husband has been working with the same Laptop since college. The thing was on it’s last legs when it stopped powering on all together. My Husband took the laptop apart and soldered something to something and was able to get the dinosaur to powered on again. (IT’S ALIVE!) He was so proud! I mean he called all his brothers, his mom, his dad, and at least half of our friends to tell them about his mad skills. He was very protective said computer as well. There was even a fight about how I was to be careful with the thing, and I was all mad that he would think that I would hurt it. Not even a week later I was walking over to the computer with a bowl of chili and a glass of lemonade. Being the klutzy person that I am for some unknown reason tripped on air and the glass hit the bowl and broke in my hand. Shattered in my hand. Lemonade and glass went everywhere. My hand was cut and the knee jerk reaction I had was to drop the bowl of chili on the computer. I killed my husbands computer. I haven’t felt so bad about anything since the time I wrecked both our vehicles in one weeks time span. I say this so you understand the depths of my ability to cause my very kind and forgiving husband grief. SO I ask you consider this entry. My husband has been working off my computer. We are not the same type of computer users. He needs to work, and I work as a therapist and can’t do my job without my computer. HELP! Save us from this one computer balancing act.

Oh man! A new computer would. Be. AWESOME! I am currently experimenting with photography myself and working on a Project 365 and my old laptop is just dying under the pressure of way too many photos. Also, my husband and I are starting our own business and it would be totally sweet to be able to start it on a fresh, new computer! And wow…that ones really pretty too! K, so please pick me! Plllleeeeaaaasssseee! Thanks! :o )

holy canolli mazolly! a computer on the wall would make business like mine (photography) so much better and more client friendly!! Sweet prize!!

I love computers and need a new one!! j/k

Actually, the Lenovo would be an amazing addition to my little apartment. It would make blogging and web surfing so much easier. IT would also help to have my own home computer to keep all my photo/music/document files on. I currently use a work issued lap top and it makes keeping files hard. Especially since it keeps crashing. *sigh*

Recently retired to focus on the business of my art using ArtFire and Etsy as online shops. Little did I know my old large desktop PC would die and become the biggest brick around. Without a reliable computer it’s difficult to run and online business. I’m using a borrowed laptop until I find a suitable replacement. Winning a computer rather than having to buy a new one would allow me to use those funds for promotion and other business expenses. Cheers

i wish i had something clever to say or some tragedy to make you feel sorry for me but i am just a stay at home mom of 5. had the last one at age 46 and yes i am still alive and so is he tho he just turned 13 and the survival part is somewhat iffy…did i tell you the first 4 were girls? yep i had 4 teenage daughters at one time and yes i did survive (opinions may vary) i now have two beautiful granddaughters and they go home! anyway sure would like to win…thanks

Having a fantabulous, rocking computer like that would help me immeasurably, although it’s not just really in one area that I need a more powerful desktop. I’m in flux right now – toying with photography, writing my heart out, blogging, and taking medical transcription classes (I need to be able to pay for my dreams!)

I’d also like to be able to bequeath my old computer to my kids, who would LOVE to not have me constantly reminding them to ‘do a disk clean-up, darn it, or BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN.’ (I’m a little sensitive of my photos)

If I was to win Lenovo A70z , it would take my business to the next level by compiling all of my documentation , papers and galleries into one clump so I’ll never lose them. This would definitely save time for me because for the majority of the time , I write out my papers and put them somewhere in my desk. But if the Lenovo A70z was mine , everything would be easier and faster!
I wished that my computer would be close to my bed for easier access because at the moment , my computer is located in the basement of my house.

Wow, it’s like a laptop! I would install in the wall of my piano studio. Non of this, “Let’s go to my computer and listen to some recordings” stuff. This would also be a great start to give long distance lessons over skype that I’ve moved away from.

Having a new space saving computer would be awesome. My boyfriend and I have been cataloging stuff in his basement, my parent’s basement and his mom’s(an almost hoarder) basement. We’re going to try starting selling stuff on ebay to decrapify our lives. Mainly because with our parents getting older; we stand to inherit a lot of “good stuff.” It would be awesome to have a computer I could hang on the wall because that would give us more room on the desktop for files to stay organized. Right now, we’re working on laptops and keeping stuff in a stack of folders.

Omg, the possibilities. I could have a computer at All since my douchecanoe husband let the virus protection lapse and, knowing this, went to a movie website and crashed it. And my camera, which was hooked to it, downloading 1500 pictures. I could update my blog on something besides this Jank blackberry. And I actually want to start a pediatric cancer awareness site…this would be perfect.

Currently, my workspace consists of a laptop on a hospital rolling table in my bedroom. I have an old CRT monitor which I plug in to extend my desktop, sitting on what I use as my nightstand. My laptop only allows 2 Gigs of ram and since it is rather old it freezes often while running Windows 7. If I won the A70z, I would put the wireless keyboard and mouse on the hospital table and sit the Lenovo A70z where the CRT use to be. This would allow me to use the hospital table for books or papers while working. I would then have room to have both my computers side by side. I would use Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/) so that I could control both computers (my old laptop and my new Lenovo) with one the A70z’s keyboard and mouse. It would be ideal!

Wow…I have seen a couple reviews now for this computer but “Hanging on the wall” was what really caught my eye in your review. This would be perfect for my student that has a very small room. We have been researching netbooks as an alternative because of space. The students in my home share one Mac desktop and during finals, it’s quite fun to watch them share or not…Anyway I really like the hanging feature and the ease of use. Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

I need this computer! My husband and I share an office, and currently, his laptop, cause I dropped my Lenovo netbook on my move from Utah to Sioux Falls (yeah, the one where I came to marry him). This hubby, who also happens to be a seminary student, will soon be stealing away his laptop for class. For me, this is NO BUENO.

This computer would be a perfect PC for me because it could be in the kitchen right in the middle of our family space. I’m a kindergarten teacher, so I am on the computer constantly. If I had this, then I needed to use it to work on my school projects, I wouldn’t have to wait until my daughters are in bed and I’m exhausted too. Usually by that time, I’m too tired and I decide it’s not worth it anyway! When my husband uses it for bills, he could do so without being away from us in the home office, and when my 10 year old daughter wants to be online, I could really see what she was doing all the time without having to worry or check in on her constantly. It would be perfect. Thanks for giving me a chance!!! :)

I don’t know…does school count as a business? I’m currently finishing up pre-reqs to get into vet school and in the interest of not being in debt for the rest of my life, I’ve moved into the tiniest and cheapest living space possible to be able to pay for classes as I go. Space saving computer FTW!! Gotta say, love my laptop, but she’s getting to be a bit outdated and…I hate to say it…slow. A new sibling, even if it’s a red headed stepchild, would be extremely helpful and wonderful. Thanks Casey!

I own a restaurant and believe it or not, now I have one computer for personal and business stuff. It would really help me to have a dedicated business computer. also, I could really use the great spreadsheet feature to help me with all of my tracking for inventory, payroll, barter accounts etc. Thanks for the chance.

OMG, I so need a new computer :-P

But really, mine is dying a slow and painful death, which means I have no ability to keep up on blogging and don’t have nearly enough RAM to do the photo editing that I would like to do.

I need a new computer to keep up with networking and eventually, decide which business I want to go with (music? or photography? THE CHOICES!)…which means I need teh power that my Toshiba just doesn’t give me. So my business plan? Figure out what I want to do and then DO IT. Network, blog, edit, compose….I want to do it all.

Can you please pick me? Pretty please?

We’re currently turning our office into the baby’s room, so we can move her out of our room and the office in! It would be awesome to have a computer that takes up less space than the tower, etc. since it will be in the bedroom!

I own a cotton candy business, this would be great to keep my events and finances organized. Sadly my mac is getting to old and is of little help for my business. This prize would be great!

I’m trying to start a business selling on ebay and right now all I have is a netbook. Having a ‘real’ computer that’s robust enough to handle everything would be fantastic!

My husband owns his own small music lesson business and a computer like this would be amazing for him. He could use it to pull up sheet music online or demonstration videos for his students, and could even Skype lessons if someone was out of town or went off to college!

Besides the fact that my computer is getting pretty old. I have been thinking about starting a business myself. A new computer just might give me the motivation to do it.

Living in a small apartment and having a huge student loan. This computer will help me to utilize my little free space that I have as I still need an area for my studying. By having a more space efficient unit, I’ll have more space to be able to lay out all my study notes. Some may say that I can go to the library, but I live far away from university and I still need to come home to cook for myself, so I stay at home to study.

I work in a research lab and often have to do heavy excel number crunching at home on my laptop, but my laptop is starting to have a hard time with the big excel files. Running low on space and computing power. Crashes every so often. The lab computers can barely open them let alone process them. So this computer would be awesome to have to help with that and the web development work I do on the side.

My Mom has never had her own computer and something like this would be a perfect first machine for her to learn on.

She really has no place for a conventional PC with a separate tower, monitor, speakers, etc.

Here’s the thing. My family is my business. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and it’s hard work!

The one thing I am trying a lot harder to do is cook healthier, better things for my family. Because of this new goal, I spend a lot of time looking for recipes on the internet. When I find one I want to try, I cook with the computer on the counter, so I can read the recipes. Do you know how gunky with food my laptop gets? Yeah. So, mounting this baby on the wall sounds, well, awesome. Like you said, it would be the best recipe book ever.

That’s my business plan. :)

I run a small business as an independent bookseller. This Lenovo looks perfect for my needs. I need tons of memory for spreadsheet capability in order to keep track of buyers, auctions, estate sales, travel arrangements, hotels, rental car agencies, sales, inventory, and the like. Plus I require reliability and I heard the Lenovo line is very reliable. I have a small table for my workstation now and this A70 would clear the decks and get rid of the clutter. tyvm.

I’m really wanting to get more serious about photography & start a blog. Our current computer is slower than molasses & I’m all about removing clutter so this sleek computer would do the job!

I would use the computer to replace the old beater. I’d try to run some fancy simulations on it and see how it keeps up…

I like computers and need a new one.

Crap.

Okay?

I am working on putting a family recipe book together. It would be fab to put this on the wall in my kitchen and create, test, and cook without using counter space!

No idea how it would compare to a laptop but the difference to that of a PC would obviously be portability and the fact you can hang it on a wall seems interesting. It could probably eliminate the use of a desk competely and just allow you to drag the screen with you wherever one goes, maybe similar to the portability of a ipad.

Less space equals less mess. Less mess equals less brain time wasted.

I just finished my first novel and am partway through my fourth (best not to ask how that happens – it has to do with the shiny new toy) I write on my husband’s law school laptop. He graduated five years ago people, and works for the government. So yeah, the old laptop isn’t going to be replaced any time soon.

I’m a conference coordinator for a yearly unschooling conference. This computer would be just the portability and power I need to manage all of my data, websites and communications.

Well, my current computer is 7-8 years old and is on its last leg (getting slower, blue screens of death), and I do some contracting work for my old company from home. So, having a nice solid computer like this Lenovo would be nice because I could give estimates for my contracting work without worrying that my current computer will go caput when I need it.

Thank you very much for the giveaway!

@anthy, Oh, whoops, forgot the second part! What do I wish my computer could do that it doesn’t. I wish it were smaller and didn’t freeze up when loading marquees on websites. Or didn’t freeze up when loading Youtube videos. Or didn’t take 5 minutes to load Firefox. Or didn’t take 10 minutes to boot up. Any of those would be good. :-)

Honestly, the biggest impact this desktop would have on my life is that it does not have a tower that needs to hide in the cabinet under the desk/shelf of our Ikea hutch, which currently makes all computer work more like fixing the kitchen sink than working on the PC.

It would likely become our data hub, with the netbook and notebooks connected and sharing media.

I’m typing this on a Lenovo laptop right now. In the last ten years I’ve gone through eight or so desktop and laptop computers. The Lenovo is, hands down, the most reliable and trouble free computer I’ve ever owned. I’m a published poet and would like a new computer with more spreadsheet capability. I specifically need to continually update agent addresses and phone numbers, literary quarterlies, acceptance periods, sent dates, rejection letters, myriad contacts, and all the other minutia that comes along with trying to publish. I’m not a tech person but I need more memory. Plus the space-saving option is very attractive. Hanging the computer on the wall is appealing in a perverse way.

Well I bought my current computer when I first got married which was 9 years ago by the way, Whoo, Whooo… (that’s me pumping my arm like a train conductor. The last time I took my computer in to get serviced (not the first time I have done this obviously), the guy told me, “You need a new computer because this one is going to crash, not MIGHT crash, WILL crash.” So I bought an external hard drive that day but we all know we don’t want actually need one. Needless to say, I am a working mommy with 3 kids, I am going back to school this fall (online), I promised my mother that I would finish our family history project (think pictures of tombstones, scanning old, faded documents, more memory space is and despartely needed, and how I would love to spend more time on my favorite website, Ancestry.com, right up there with the moosh in indy blog)and since I live in 103 yr old house with 847 sq ft (don’t forget I have 3 kids)a computer on the wall thing really would save on space since I could probably get rid of the computer armoire thingy from Walmart. Did I mention that my 4 yr twins like to think that our current monitor is those doodle pad thing with the magnetic pen? It has more scratches on it than a Pink Floyd vinyl record, you know what I am saying? The monitor on the wall thing is looking better all the time…

Basically, I just really really need a new computer but I can’t justify it until my current one jumps off the cliff…
Yeah, and when it does, the hubby will run out and buy some piece of crap-cuz-I-am-shopping-with-3-kids-and-I-don’t-have-time-to-comparision-shop-Dell while I am at work…Please save me that fight. Word. (me thumping my fist on my chest, giving you the peace sign)

I currently work for a Foundation. One of my vendors and I are working towards starting our own Foundation to help corporations raise funds to help their communities.

This desktop would be a great asset to get the planning and promotion done for our charity to be approved by the IRS and start working!!!

I’m building a tiny home (as in 250 sq ft) from recycled and donated materials. Needless to say, having a space saving computer is essential. I love that I can hang it on the wall. No need for a TV – 2 birds, 1 stone. Love it! Thanks for the chance to win.

I am a full time student in college. I dont own a laptop. I own a huge/massive desktop. The Lenovo could help me out by being a computer that I could take to school with me to work on homework. I hate not having a portable pc and this pc looks like it could be used as one fairly easily. If there was one thing I would wish for my computer to be, it would be, not to be seven years old.

I am amazed at what little space the Lenovo takes up, great for portability too if that need should arise. I love the built-in features and the fact that you can CHOOSE which options you want to use. And I love the idea of hanging it on a wall, or using it as a recipe book ….

I occasionally have to show photos to a client. My current set-up is embarrassing. It’s huge, takes up my whole desk and cables are going every which way. I would love to have a neat, sleek little system like this when showing photos to a client.

I’m soon moving to New York, to begin a PhD program in Biomedical Sciences. I’m also getting married, and that means two people in a small, small space (it’s going to be wonderful, but certainly cramped). Neither of us owns a desktop computer at the moment, instead we have rapidly aging laptops. With a solid, powerful, quiet desktop like this one, and two new iPads (on the wedding registry, fingers crossed) we’d be absolutely set to be connected at school, and have a powerful machine for more computer-intensive tasks (and Hulu watching, on that massive screen). We are both very entrepreneurially minded, and hope to bring our combine our loves of science and teaching to begin a blog to help make science education relevant for the youth of our country!

This computer would truly make an already exciting couple of months exponentially more awesome!

I’m looking into going back to school this week. I want to go into web and graphic design. It’s something I can do from home and not have to miss out on my kiddos’ lives. A smaller computer would be one less thing to clutter up my already overwhelmed desk (considering now my monitor, keyboard, speakers and cpu are all on my massive desk). I love editing photos and things at home as well…but because my computer is a gajillion years old it makes it a very slow process. All in all it would just totally rock to have a computer that functioned well, ran faster than what I have now…and didn’t take up half my desk.

I’m a Interior Design student, currently using a 15″ screen, rebuilt PC. It works, most of the time i can do my work fast enough. But a desktop for faster rendering, a bigger screen so I can see my entire document at a readable scale…oooh, it sounds like a dream. And portable? So I don’t take up extra room in the living room – well, I think I’m falling in love with the idea :)

This computer would be for my kids. They have a hand-me-down MacG4 that is on it’s last leg. What would it do for me? Keep them off of my damn laptop!

Oh a new computer how badly do I need you let me count the ways!

1. You would have a tab and a alt key.
2.No more broken left button on the built in mouse thingy. Making me have to furiously double tap the touchpad.

3. No more repeatedly jabbing the space bar to get a measly space.

4. Less fingerprints on the screen and less mystery goo on the keyboard from the little ones.

5. No more searching for the misplaced cord when the dreaded low battery message comes up.

6. No more pesky you only have 200mb left of hard drive space left messages.

7. Hanging you in the kitchen would be cool. No more getting frustrated when cooking and I turn around to a shut computer. (Thanks honey!)

My laptop is ailing. I am a very active Realtor and love multitasking, putting said laptop to the test. It does not like having so many windows open at one time and slows–way–down. The Lenova would be a godsend to help me get my business revved up–and to stay that way.

I wish my computer would be mounted on the wall. right now my desktop pcs very bulky and takes most of the space on my desk. so much that there is a lot of paper/bills that is cluttered all across the desk, taking lots of time to find a particular bill. A computer like the lenovo a70z would help significantly organize and declutter my desktop, which would help me stay more focused on the more important things in my business rather than lookin for bills in clutter. Being mounted on the wall, Its space saving design is a godsend.

i live in a very small space and i am wanting to start a work from home business so this would be really great , my computer system now is old and slow and my 3 teens use it as well so they do homwork etc, i really cant say how great a system like this would be for us

I would love to try and expand my blog so I had more readers. I have no idea how to do that, but to be able to make money doing it sounds like a dream. This computer could really help me do that. My kids are on my computer all the time, so to have a computer to my self would be heavenly!

Wow! What a computer! I’m a jewelry designer and this lenovo a70z would totally help me save space from from my busy designing desk. This would allow me look at photos of designs, write my descriptions and quickly load them to my online Etsy shop. http://1of1JewerlyDesign.etsy.com
You guys would really be helping a mom of 5 to also teach instructional materials to my children in a TV style type of view! This would be a ultimate gift as a “giveaway”!

My husband actually started his first graduate class on Monday toward his Ph.D. We have one laptop in the house that unfortunately runs on that lovely Vista (?@?@##<!) that you spoke of at the beginning of the post. It would be amazing for him to have a better tool to use….the class is tough enough without the added stress. Oh, and did I mention that his first class is Intro to Institutional Reasearch….and it is online :) .

Hrm, let’s see. The Lenovo A70z could help take my business to the next level by providing me a cross-platform testing unit for web design/development. It also might push me into getting Lightroom and away from Aperture for my photo management.

What do I wish my computer could do now that would make my life easier? Pack all the boxes that need to go to storage so I can sell my place. But me thinks even this beaut of machine won’t do that for me. Bummer.

My husband is a computer nerd. Our computer is never the same twice- he’s always “fixing” it. I would love love love to have my own to use for scrap booking and photo editing. ;)

I have two ideas for this PC. One would be as mentioned, in the kitchen as an online recipe search. Presently I tend to print every recipe out whenever I need one and this tends to waste a fair amount of paper.

My other idea is that this PC would make an extremely nice music streaming system, where I could have all my music on a central server, and use the wireless connection of this machine to listen to music in a different area of the house.

Thanks.

I just quit my day job to focus full time on my photography business. My five year old mac book is going to need to be replaced soon! I am even a Mac girl but that PC could totally sway me to the other side.

7000 pictures! That is awesome!

I really wish my computer could do my laundry and dishes for me. At the very least though this would help me organize my life and family events. I currently use a laptop which I love but I completely miss my desktop for many things. And this hooks on to a wall?? Seems like the possibilities are endless!

Being a mom and a grad student and teaching many sections of english composition to young college students to pay for my own schooling. This computer would kick it up a notch around this house and make my life much more simple.

Ooohh. This is fancy!

I’m a grad student in literature, so my business involves downloading and reading lots and lots of articles. I would LOVE a bigger computer to store them on, and a way to read them other than my tiny MacBook screen.

I am an avid family blogger, so to speak. I post pics and stories of my 2 year old for my family to see each day. You see, I live in Colorado and my family is in far, far away Florida. And they are addicted to the blog- I mean A-DDICTED! I catch slack if I don’t post daily (which I almost always do). Anyway, right now I have about 5,000 pics on my work laptop and I think perhaps that’s against the rules at work. But all I have at home is a 2002 iMac- blah! Too old. Hook me up!!

This would come at the best time ever! I have five kids, three of which are one year old triplets and thanks to the cost of formula our savings are now less than stellar. To build them back up I have just started learning to trade futures. It’s something I can do from home in the early morning that doesn’t take away time from the kids. Space is tight and my office masquerades as a guest room, play room, and storage room as well. A computer that hangs on the wall would be a godsend. It’s high time to retire my husbands 7 year old law school laptop!

This would be very useful as a kitchen PC, being able to check recipes and watch some streaming TV while I’m cooking. Then fold it away under the counter when I’m done with it. Very sleek.

Okay, I will try this. My husband and I are starting our own non-profit organization to do humanitarian work in developing countries. Not exactly a business, but completely awesome and a passion in life. Our home laptop recently went the way of the world, (unfortunately taking many of our previous humanitarian work photos with it), so a new computer would be just what we need to get the new org running. First trip will be to a remote village in Peru to consult on building a library for the school-aged kiddos.

Thanks!

First I would like to thank you for the chance to enter this contest and explain my reasons for wanting it.
I was working for a small company and always wanted to have my own company, but alas that has not happened yet. I then met this wonderful woman, Donna who turned out to be the love of my life, and we dated for awhile, and then as many, differed apart, only to rediscover one another sometime later. She has become my wife, partner and best of all my true friend. We have been blessed with a wonderful daughter the past 22 years. But, the story takes a nasty twist, not the fairy tale that we wanted from each other.
I moved up in the company that I worked for, and was asked to take over the Atlantic region of the company, we talked for many hours and decided to give it a shot and move from New England to the Maryland/Virginia are for me. We took our daughter with us and packed a truck, hopped in the cab and took off for our new adventure. Donna did this for me; she has done many things for me to advance my career. Dinners, socials, trade shows, meetings, and long hours of being alone in a strange area (she grew up in New England)…..all for me.
Then the worst happened, the dr’s appointment that was,” we need to talk to you both”. We went to see the doctor in Annapolis, and now it wasn’t about me, it was about her. All about her.
Donna has put her career on hold for me, trying to start her own professional photography business , working in day care and raising our daughter, to volunteering at various animal rescue groups were ever we have lived. She has spent countless hours organizing, trapping, soliciting and even fostering the sick and infirmed animals that no one wanted until they got better and ready for adoption. She has photographed families that could afford family portraits, or even school type pictures for free in our area. But now, it was time that she had to focus on herself. I had to leave my job to care for her as well as our daughter. I gave up a high paying job, our house, moved back to new England, family, friends to care for her throughout her illness, over the past five years she has endured countless procedures, operations, spinal taps, blood tests, MRI’s, cat scans, poked and prodded, multiple doctors. This past January after a last ditch effort to stop all this, we found a wonderful doctor that has sent her into a state of remission. No more treatments, no more pills no more….”what next” to having my friend, my partner and best of all my wife back.
As she starts to try and get back on track and start her life over. She has hopes of starting her own business as well as I do too. I have been working on acquiring a landscape construction business as Donna is trying to restart her photography business, all the while still volunteering to help animal rescue groups in our area, with all her organizing skills.
This computer will be used for both our businesses, mostly Donnas, to store, plan and work on her photography work, and to help develop the different animal rescue groups that she loves to participate in. The computer will benefit non – profit organizations that care for cats and dogs that will be taken in to no-kill shelters as well as no-kill foster care programs that Donna volunteers for. Most of the work has to be done at home. This is due to the fact that she still is unable to drive and spend too much time on her feet as of yet. We could use this computer since we have moved into a small town house and have little room with our daughter, German shepherd dog, 2 adoptive cats, 2 foster cats and 4 foster kittens.
If you chose us as the winners we would be using the computer for our personal/business as well as for no-kill /non-profit organizations in our local area. This computer will not only benefit our family, but many people as well as many animals in the future.

OH, oh, pick me! Pick, me please! {waves hand wildly} Wow, where to start?! Red-headed step children? Got ‘em! – Well, actually not step children, and only on 2 of the 3 are redheads.

We’ve been computer window shopping for several months. Our oldest son is in the second half of his high school career (11th grade) with brothers B & C hot on his tail (they’re the red heads!) MY computer doesn’t seem so much like “mine” anymore! Right now A is in the middle of a summer book report and of course all the boys think they need to stay in contact with their friends.

I gave up a “real” career (aka job that pays cash) for one that paid in wet kisses and half eaten lollipops ( and now has graduated to eye rolls and primate-like grunts) when Hubby was relocated to a new city and state where we knew no one when our first son was 18 months old. The prospect of finding a job and someone we could trust with our life (aka our son’s life!) was daunting…so I became a SAHM…which was probably a good idea since 3.5 years later we moved again (with A and new little brother B) to your (current) great state…and added C and moved again 3.5 years later…finding us in yet another state and city (another state you love for their natives’ charming accents, even when cussing)…which found me with an urgent need to get out of the house, learn my way around town, meet new friends and generally get a life. So now I sell stuff at home parties ( no, not that stuff, this stuff and trying to squeeze in time on the computer to keep up with my clients and keep my books and as well as other important things that save my sanity like my read my favorite bloggers.

I use “my” computer for a small direct sales business I’ve had for almost 6 years. It pays for the boys’ sports like soccer, volleyball (not just for girls anymore!) and basketball and keeps them in shoes and kibble, err I mean snacks and allows me to make my own family friendly hours. (You don’t even want to know what I pay on shoes for those boys each year!) My business is a tiny business, but it is a real business. Direct sales is not for everyone, but it’s been a life line for the adult me. When I’m working I’m not known as “A’s” mom or the PTO President or Hubby’s wife or the lady with the red-heads who sits in the second pew in the choir loft …I am known as the lady who sell stuff! Who smiles and has a good time meeting strangers and making friends and money at the same time. A new computer would be huge blessing in a time of worrying about the who, what, where, when, why of a small business owner. Times are tuff, and small business, heck, business owners all over are struggling to meet the needs and wants of their clients and still be able to bring something ($$) home to their families. As reasonably priced as the Lenovo ThinkCenter A70z is, as a small direct sales business person, I don’t have a technology budget. (blushes) My profit margin is reasonable, but I’d have to sell a lot of “stuff” to pay for something with all the bells and whistles this computer offers!

My desk is currently in the corner of our guestroomformy otherinlaw(wholivesoutofstate)officelaundryfoldingtreadmill room. So space is a premium! I’m no geek! Reading that the Lenovo ThinkCenterA70z is easy to use and easy to set up with a “plug and play” design and 19” screen – woohee – maybe I can put off getting some “cheeters” for another couple of years and actually get it up and running without having to bribe ask the teenage son to help his dear mama out! Add “green” and money saving energy features like ThinkVantage Power Manager and an Energy Star rating (squee!) now you’re giving me goose bumps of a good type! Not exactly a treadmill moment, but we can’t all be that lucky! ;-)

(oh my gosh, I think I just wrote a book!) sorry!

I work from home and home school my daughter. With all of her “masterpieces” and crafts being displayed on my desk, I hardly have space to work! I have an ancient desk top that is on it’s last leg. The Lenovo would be a life saver!

I wish my computer could do now that would make your life easier by having voice recognition software that will allow me to place food orders and record/switch to my favourite shows much easier

I have health problems so I’m not working. I’d use a new computer to enter more contests and sweeps. My desk top is old and locks up if I have too many tabs open at once.

The main way that the Lenovo A70Z would help me is that it would save a lot of space compared to the 17″ CRT that I currently have on my desk. At the same time, it would give me more screen space, which would help with developing software. While being able to hang it on a wall is a great feature for many people, it wouldn’t help me that much because I don’t have clear wall space to hang it on.

I work from home as a Dispatch for a Trucking Company and only have an old Desktop what just loves to lock up on me :( i am pretty sure this wouldn’t happen with the Lenovo A70z !

I’m a college student that interns for a nonprofit (Impact Teen Drivers, google it!). I would use the Lenovo as my main Impact computer, so my sister (who also interns) and I could work on the same spreadsheets/projects/etc. without having to email or use google docs (though g docs is amazing). I wouldn’t have to worry about my Excel randomly shutting down anymore! Everything important would be transferred to it. This old laptop would be my back up, take to class, try to milk one more year before it dies.

39 inches. I actually got the tape measure out for this one. That’s the size of the workspace I currently use to house my ancient laptop (as in 5 years old, but I believe that’s what the young’ins say is “ancient” these days). We don’t have a big fancy house with a study and 4 extra bathrooms. But, that’s okay, because we love it. What I don’t love, though, is my dying laptop and the fact that there isn’t enough green in the checking account to buy a new one! So, imagine, my elation when I hopped on your blog and saw this giveaway…with a perfect sized computer for my “office” (e.g. nook in the kitchen)! I don’t necessarily own my own business, unless you count the occassional sale on Craigslist of an old piece of furniture or some baby equipment! However, I do work part-time (often from home) for a consulting company and manage a personal daycare for my two lovely crumbsnatchers, ages 3 and 4. Ha! So, needless to say, winning this would be an amazing treat towards more efficiently managing the lives of my little people, my big person (husband), and my part-time job!

I have this dream of opening my own financial planning business. I’m pretty sure I would rock at it. And you know how much I enjoy some quality yet intense spreadsheeting.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is just the thing for me. Let me tell you a story. My husband is a lawyer. We had this idea that when he graduated from law school we’d be rolling in the dough…but no. Jobs were scarce when we moved back to Indiana in 2008, and the only place that would hire him was a tiny little prosecutor’s office…and you KNOW what prosecutor’s make, right?? Loans quadruple our income. It’s a mess. Anyway, after a year of basically working 24/7 because I had to pick up a waitressing job and my husband picked up an additional hotel clerk job on the weekends…we were blessed and my husband got offered a job for a little more money (still a prosecutor) and in our home town. Then out of no where someone decided he should run for office and he was appointed to run for elected prosecutor. This happened in all of 6 months and now we are running a campaign. It’s crazy, but I KNOW the Lord is behind this…and you will know what I’m talking about here…priesthood blessings are powerful…anyway, our crappy computer that we have everything for the campaign saved on is just about to putt out. One time, it erased all of our itunes for no reason and now every single program that we have says “no application” is found. Pretty much the only use it is to us is the Internet and Word files, which is what we are running this campaign from..and to be honest, I don’t even understand why THAT is working. Maybe not a coincidence? I even send everything campaign related to my mother in law just in case it decides to die. Truly, it just might have a mind of its own. Why don’t we just buy a new one?? Well, my husband is the most frugal person I know and since we live on a prosecutor’s salary, there is no way he is replacing it until we have a better footing on our finances. (He even said he would just go to the library and do stuff for the campaign if he had to!) So you can imagine how amazing a new computer would be for me and my family. You can find his campaign website by going to my blog if you are interested. Thanks for the chance to win!

I wish my computer would clean my house and take out the garbage. That would certainly make my life easier.

My husband has been out of work for nearly two years and our current desktop is an outdated beast of a computer. It would be great if updating his portfolio/resume/website was something other than a huge pain. This little computer looks like it would fit the bill!

I am a PR Specialist, who works from home most days. I would hang this baby on the wall so my 9 month old couldn’t chew on it’s wires (like he tries to do with my current computer) while I promote!

My old laptop is *just* about ready to die, so I could really use this for blogging, music, and all my photos. :)

I would love to have a new computer with an easy to use interface so it didn’t take me endless hours to edit phtos and make sure they were really saved properly. Also, I’m attempting to start couponing to save money/pay off debt so I can quit work, so having all that extra space to work would be awesome!

Wow, that looks fantastic! My one year old laptop just recently died. And I was, unfortunately, a little behind in Flickr uploading! Fortunately, the harddrive should be salvageable and I will not be making that mistake again a second time. I don’t have any fancy job or anything that requires a computer, just enjoyment… too much time on Facebook… and severely neglected blog.

I sat on the floor the other day, under a desk, for no less than 45 minutes, armed with twist ties and a Swiffer (for all the dust I was kicking up…because who has time to dust, right?), trying to untangle, sort, and twist into small bundles the endless tentacles of computer cords that were snaking their way from the top of the desk, through the cute little cord-hole to the powerstrip or giant computer tower which were located on the floor. 45 minutes!!! That time could have been spent dusting (yeah right…who am I kidding)… or better entertaining my toddler who was quite amused finding objects (like crayons, puzzle pieces, and golf balls…yes, golf balls!) to drop through the hole as she hoped for a resounding “ouch, that hurt!” from her cord wrapped, dust covered mother. Yeah… I really really need a computer without all the cords… please!

I think this cool laptop would help out my photography tremendously. Yo. Mostly cuz it is new. I use a slow HP laptop that is like a dinosaur. And seriously.. how freaking cute is this? I would hang mine in my kitchen. Not only to access recipes (conveniently) but that is where I do most of my photo editing.. right at my kitchen table.

I’m a full time student, living in a dorm room with two other girls, and my desk is the deposit spot for EVERYTHING. So space saving? Mucho important.
Plus, I will probably be founding an on campus second hand store next year and could use a computer to run the accompanying website.

This computer is so itsy-bitsy and cute! I would love for it to come live at my house. I write a lot, for my blog, my day job, and random freelance/personal projects. In addition, I’m returning to school full-time in the fall, and it would be fantastic to have a fresh new platform to use.

Oh, and did I mention that I’ve just moved from a house to an apartment? So yes, space is suddenly at a premium.

I feel warranted to say the “I like computers and need a new one” line because I DO like computers and I kind of, sort of need a new one since my soon to be husband STEALS my Macbook every chance he gets.

So yea. Another easy to use computer in my home would be the best thing ever. I’d just have to hide it from him!

(PS I use my computer as a recipe book too. Love it. It makes it so I don’t lose the recipe after.)

Casey, I would first like to say I love reading your blog, I have never commented before but I am always inspired by your honesty and inisght on living with depression. Thanks to you, it helps me be more understanding with people in my life who are suffering in all aspects! I am posting today to try to win this AMAZING computer! I am a mortgage loan officer and processor who has struggled to survive this business, my computer is old and slow. I take great pride in helping people (like you) in becoming first time homebuyers! It is the best feeling in the world! If I had a new computer, my work could get done so much faster and more efficiently! Space saving is extremely important since I work from home 90% of the time and have to share my “office” with the rest of my household! I would love the opportunity to try out this fantastic sounding computer! It would also be nice for my 2 sons who are just starting high school and the many projects that are sure to come! Thanks again and good luck to you!

I would really like a new computer that doesn’t shut down on me 15 times a day! I don’t know if it is a bug or an overheating problem, but I wouldn’t get so frustrated with a new computer!

I would like on to take my business to a LEVEL… right now it’s all in my head. I write my thoughts down but it is hardly when I’m in front of a computer… I’m normally washing dishes or fixing lunch for my son… those “mindless” tasks. A PC to hang on my wall in that room. Oh my goodness, please.. yes, please.

This computer would make it soooo easy to coordinate the four online stores I run for my family. Between online quilt stores and online motorcycle parts stores, I need a quick slim computer to help me keep track of it all!
I know it would certainly make me a more efficient worker bee!!

My husband has just started up a website design business and he is quickly realizing that he needs more than one computer to be effective. This would be perfect! His office is very small, so a space-saving device would give him the ability to actually leave the office once in a while (which I really, really need him to). :)

Right now, we live out in the middle of nowhere, which means we just have dial-up. Which means, in order to upload any of the photos from my budding photography business, I have to either take the external HD to my parent’s or brother’s house and attach it or take the whole computer over to hook it up. I have a big desktop. That makes it very difficult. Having something that is all together would be amazingly simple to transfer it around. Like having a laptop but with the “oomph” of my desktop. That would be so amazingly awesome and SUCH a blessing.

So, hopefully no one that I know reads this, but if I’m being honest, I am interested in someday soon getting pregnant. Well, I will graduate with my Associates degree this August in Accounting and it seems kind of pointless to not use it while being a stay-at-home mom, so I’m hoping to have a job that I can do from home. Hopefully my employer will be willing to let me do things from home or I may just start my own company doing Accounting for small businesses. In order to accomplish this I would need a good reliable computer. Thanks for the opportunity. :)

I’ve been reading your blog for the past couple months, and you kind of inspired me to start my own (which is created but not yet used). I have a passion for wanting to make a difference in others’ lives, so that’s what I’m hoping to write about and hopefully inspire a few like I know you do on a daily basis.

I currently work at a small nonprofit organization in WV that assists those living in poverty by giving financial assistance and free resources such as clothing, food, and household items. We have a small staff of four and get by with the help of many volunteers. Currently the majority of our computers were donated… ten year old systems that can barely run XP. And I’m actually trying to type this up quickly because this computer can freeze at the flick of the mouse or tap of the spacebar! A new computer would be amazing!!!

I recently took a work-from-home job and wow, this computer would save some space in my current office (which houses ANOTHER computer for work use). Our office is jammed packed and the fact that this machine takes up less space than most computers? HEAVEN.

After years of having laptops, and finally admitting that with two (almost three) little ones under the age of three, that laptops just aren’t going to last (please note the pile of poor, sad deceased laptops in my closet) that a desktop would be a lifesaver.

One that would sit far enough back on a desk that little grubby hands couldn’t reach it would be even better.

Our schools are cutting the creative classes next year. So I am starting an Art and Photography classes for kids ages 4-17. Having an extra Reliable computer would be amazing for the kids to be able to back their work up on. Or to use for homework and extra stuff. The community I live in is mostly lower income families that more than likely do not have home computers. Our schools only have two open computers that all the kids have to share. Thanks for the chance to win.

For starters, I need a new computer. My laptop died in April with no hope of ever coming back to life. I have resorted to using the internet on my lunch break or when I get a spare minute during the workday…

Secondly, a faster…newer…and space-saving computer would help me update my blog in a timely fashion, start the etsy shop I have always wanted to, and allow me to work from home more. The wall-mount feature would be awesome as we are remodeling our entire house. I currently have a fridge, stove, and microwave in my living room if that tells you anything about the lack of space I endure each day… :)

The Lenovo ThinkCentre sounds like it would be a fun and useful computer. I would love to have one! I think the idea of using it in the kitchen is fabulous, what a way to save on printing out recipes. I think it would provide great inspiration to pick back up my writing and maybe just maybe tackle the novel I dream of writing.

Last night my desktop died – so how would winning the Lenovo ThinkCentre help my business? Right now my business is CRIPPLED. It would return me to an income-making state.

This hanging on the wall business is blowing my mind. I luh-luh-love the idea of hanging it in the kitchen for a recipe station, as my (old and slow) laptop is usually only used on the kitchen counter when I’m cooking. I’m also starting a new business within the next few months, and I’d love if my husband and I could have separate spaces and I don’t have to feel guilty about taking the computer since he is in grad school. And with such a small apartment, the space-saving element of this computer is awesome!

My hubby is a pastor of two small churches, so our home office is always overflowing with sermon notes, bible study prep, books and COMPUTER CRAP! My dream is to have a sleek computer like this to help make our office a little more livable!

I have this laptop that is about to die and it sits in the kitchen so that we can use it at will. We use it most mornings to skype our dad/hubby- he works all over the usa and is gone for 12-13 days at a time. I would love a new space saving computer that would fit on the kitchen counter and that we could use to keep in touch with daddy and that my soon to be school going 5 year old could use to stay excited about learning.

Tell me how a good reliable space saving computer like the Lenovo A70z could help take your business to the next level:
!!!!! My dh & I were just discussing this yesterday!! He needs a better home office space but we don’t have a large enough space to set up a behemoth desktop. We currently have laptop with *gasp* Vista. My dh started 2 new businesses in the last year & the biggest challenge so far has been all the time wasted trying to get our laptop to do even the simplest jobs! Having a space saving computer that actually works would SERIOUSLY jumpstart our businesses!!
What do you wish your computer could do now that would make your life easier?
Um, run the software that my husband is trying to sell. I think every other non-Vista computer in the world could do it. Plus, having a computer that doesn’t crash once a day, particularly just as you are about to send an important email, would be fabulous!

i don’t have a computer of my own, but if i did it would do my homework for me, keep all two million pictures of my beautiful daughter organized, have scrapbook pages pre designed for me and display amazing recipies i can cook after work but before school. oh, how lovely it would be. :)

We have a desktop now. And it rarely gets used. My blog hasn’t been updated in over a month. It’s just that the only place it “fits” in our house is out of the main path of travel. So I do’t go there much. And when I do it’s for necesary things, like my lia sophia business stuff. I’d love it if I could hang this on the wall and have it somewhere I could actually use it for fun AND make my business easier

Such a fancy new machine would certainly help me to get my photos edited and sorted MUCH faster. Case in point? It’s taken me over an hour to just look at fireworks photos in lightroom, and I’m only half way done. Gah!

It would also let me use computer programs to study for (and hopefully pass) medical boards. The pursuit of higher education FTW!

It would change the clutter in my photography life and make me a less insane person as a result. The End.

What a beautiful machine. I need this computer because my husband is a gaming freak and is always hogging the computer even when I have to get on to do my schoolwork, I am trying to finish my finance degree. I literally have to unplug and steal his headphones/mic and the mouse to get him off of there sometimes!!

My name is Auntie Nettie and I have a dream. I have a dream of a new fancy schmacy Levano computer — one with the storage capacity to save all my pictures that I have been taking and storing at work. (BAD Nettie!) I have a dream of a computer that would have Skype capability, so I could communicate with all my far-flung family and friends. I have a dream of a computer that would have wi-fi access, so I could surf and play at home and not on the company dime. I have a dream of a computer that would be fast and speedy, with storage and photo editing capability — so I could actually FINALLY get that esty shop up and online — and get all my crafts out of my studio. What a dream, a computer that would neatly fit into the tiny 250 square foot space that serves too many purposes. Imagine! I am Auntie Nettie, and I have PC-dreams to finally lose my semi-luddite status in my personal life and enter the 21st century.

I sell photography on the side and have lately found that my desktop (which is over 4 years old) is not up able to manage the sheer magnitude of tasks I need it to do. Would love to have a new desktop to help me out and get my workflow buzzing!

Thanks!

I wish my computer could handle Windows 7 which I’ve heard so much about but will never see unless I win myself a new computer.

I’ll be honest… I don’t own a small business or anything, but I would like to someday. For now though, i would use it in my kitchen for my cooking blog… and so I’m not always running back and forth when I am looking up recipes.

My husband and I both own dying Dells. My husband’s laptop’s screen will fall off any day now. A new computer would revolutionize our home life by actually working! Not having to wait for websites to load? Great! Downloading pictures from our camera without it overheating? Wonderful! Thanks for the giveaway!

Oh, my goodness. Microsoft Word has STOPPED WORKING on my current computer, so a new one that, um, WORKS would rock a lot. Also, I have this secret dream of turning my spare bedroom into an office for me, me and only me. It is ti-ny, so any space saving appliance is a friend of mine where that’s concerned.

I teach a middle school computer class and I’m always looking for new technology to show my students and this would be a great way to keep them interested in computers.

I’m Lucky.
I see one and touched it.
We buy one at Office for the recepcionist an is very robust and speedy.
Seems it would be the envy of the rest of employees.
I’m very impressed with it althought i use to work with Server Systems an Data Centers.

Good luck for the future owner.

My wife is a learning specialist for children with learning disabilities. This would be a great tool for her and her students.

I am working with an almost 4 year old Mac, which is the longest i’ve ever had a computer EVER. It’s okay, but now that we have settled back in Indiana and I am brainstorming on what my next passion will be, I realize I need a fresh computer.

I want to create videos full of creative entrepreneurial ideas for teenagers and more specifically, teenage girls and teenage mothers to help them be independent while earning money for college and life’s needs. I’d like to get these produced and share them with Boys and Girls Clubs, after school programs and other organizations that reach out to these teens.

Thanks! :)

Oh! And I could take this computer with me to these sites to share the videos on the screen with the teens! :)

I wish my computer could… save space! Really, I have a small room and half of the space is taken up by a clunky computer desk and monitor/tower setup. Having it all in the size of a laptop would be a lifesaver and I could finally have a decent living space.

I run a consulting business out of the house and so my morning includes helping get the kids (3&5) out the door. Having the ability to be checking business/family schedules and emails while making breakfast and packing lunches sounds like I’ll get another 45 minutes of billable time in each day. How about we find out? :)

My wife and I do online order taking. When she looks for hours to schedule she has to run back and forth to her computer. Hanging this on the wall is a great idea and in the kitchen area she could watch for schedules and still do other things.

A PC like the A70z is just what I need. I live in a small home so space is a premium. The slim form factor would allow me to properly set up my photography gear (cameras, scanner, external storage). With the A70z I can use these tools to edit and distribute images and video content.

I am terribly technically challenged. I think it might be an age thing. But my husband and I run a small retail garden centre and increasingly our customers ask if we have a web site. I would love to use the A70z to set get our business a website.

Ok, so maybe I live under a rock, but I didn’t even know that such a thing existed. We have a 5 year old laptop that’s as slow as molasses. All we really do with it is check email, store pictures, check facebook, and pay bills. I now have the patience of a saint just because I’m used to w . . .a . . .i . . .t . . i . . .n . .g FOREVER to do the simplest things. We run a benefit each year for the American Cancer Society, and the effort involved in fighting with our laptop could be averted by owning something shiny and new and state-of-the-art. (Not to mention easy to set up!) My mind is just spinning with thoughts of creating flyers and keeping track of expenses and keeping our website up-to-date. Oh, the possibilities!

My girlfriend works from home and when you consider all the crap that goes on a desk such as her files, phone, jelly belly dispenser (It’s a NECESSITY! I won’t hear otherwise) , office supplies, keyboard, mouse, etc… there is next to no room for anything else. Something like this on the wall would really clear up some space for her to slam her head on the desk when people drive her crazy… or maybe to put pictures or something useful there.

We need a simple space-saving PC to be the “family computer,” so that mine and my husband’s are free for the work we do on them.

I am an aspiring photographer, always looking for new gear. I am very low budget, hence a D3000, and I’ve been trying to save up for a new computer, because all I have now is a 10 year old Dell Inspiron 6000. It’s really tiring waiting for Photoshop to load up, or even flickr to load up. I would really benefit from a space saving computer as well, because photography comes with lots of clutter. I have way too many wires on my desk, and a hanging monitor would be great, as I just have a blank wall behind my desk.

Thank you very much!

Take my business to the next level?

Well, this is the thing: I’m a relatively new Dad, and my son just turned 2. The biggest change that came with his birthday is that he moved from our sitting room, into his own bedroom. Translation: No more office. Bummer, huh?

To top things off, my wife and I can’t really convert the now-vacated sitting room into an office because were planning on expanding our little family, so that’s out.

The point is, it’s getting increasingly more difficult to do stuff for my business on my work laptop (big no-no), ad my old laptop is on it’s last legs (a binder clip keeping the screen from flickering, and a twist-tie bridging a short in the power cord.

I need a new pc! Since our family is growing, I need it to take up as little space as possible. This would do nicely!

I went back to college to finish my decree, this computer could make my life a lot easier because I wouldn’t have to drag my daughter to the library to work on my assignments especially on her school nights.

Zip, zap, buzz, sleeeeep…..never to wake up. Our old computer died this spring. Making do with borrowed units here & there. We could really use a new computer! We use the web and email to organize multiple community activities – organizing the building of our community playground, organizing the family ski events, and helping to coordinate the local volunteer fire department. A new computer is out of our budget, but is really needed. Thanks for the chance to win.

I look after a couple of kids during the week and they are starting to become fascinated with technology, or more specifically subtle ways of sullying my laptop with toddler hands (and who knows what is on those).

A desktop would be an ideal solution (because I tote my laptop around from room to room and only have a desk in one of them) and I only have enough space for something streamlined.

What could a computer do to improve my life? For starters, could it teach my children to say “please” and “thank you”, to pick up their toys (unasked), to clear the clutter from the family table/craft center/glue drying space/Lego gallery? In our household, next to the family table, lies the kitchen counter – my clutter zone, and home of the now kaput laptop, central storage of my recipes, lesson plans, et cetera. A computer like the one in your generous offer would enable me to be the kind of parent and teacher I strive to be – one who models positive behavior. It would enable me to declutter my kitchen counter (modeling behavior for my children to emulate), thereby better organizing my life and work (I am CEO of the household), and, most importantly, pleasing my husband (Chief Worker of the household) by achieving his life dream of coming home at the end of the day to a house with an energetic wife, boisterous and cheerful children, and a clean, clutter-free countertop. Thanks for this chance to express my faults and aspirations.

Having a computer that takes less space means a cleaner cutter free home office space. I could get more paper work done as my desk is cramped as is with this big tower sitting on it. Then maybe my ebay store will get even more productive with my uncluttered desk that lacks productivity.

I wish my current computer would turn on! It would make editing photos so much easier! I do have a back-up computer — an 8 inch netbook — ever try editing photos on an 8 inch screen? The Lenovo would be great because it turns on and it doesn’t take up tonnes of room and there wouldn’t be cords all over the place (I hate tripping on cords). I live in a teeny house (700 sq ft) and space is always at a premium. The screen on the Lenovo looks wonderful and I imagine that Photoshop would run like a dream on it — I can hear it purring now. I would get tonnes more editting done on this baby and when I got up for a stretch break, I wouldn’t trip over the ten million cords and sprain my ankle (true story!). Plus, my nephew could watch movies when he came over and not have to ask Antee for magnifying glasses to see the screen (I have a 10 inch tube TV that is currently hooked up to a VCR — because my DVD player is on the computer that doesn’t turn on, yes I live in 1980). Windows 7 sounds wonderful — the computer that doesn’t turn on has Vista — I think that’s part of the problem!

This would be a perfect computer to set up in the dining area for common use. Quickly and conveniently being able to check email, check up on family and friends on Facebook, do other tasks and have a little fun.

My work is my life, I take it everywhere. I find myself defending my life quite often,
and a portable data and image source always help. For decades, I’ve been a proponent of a unique theory, now more factually backed, that has gotten me in trouble repeatedly, luv trouble. We are a nation in denial about how we run business, I grew up in a household with 3 businesses and was a rep for small business for 2 corps. I analyze data, I sometimes hear where the bodies of dead children are because my govt. is not allocating funds to use the space program for non-commercial (protection) purposes but for private individual behavioral control. As a filmmaker, films about the development of technology without regulation is what I am passionate about. Telling the true stories that are buried. A portable computer, that can hang anywhere – because plenty of people want to see me hand – with a large screen is good for both the study of films and for representing the ideas and images I need to show to persons who facilitate what I do and/or keep me out of a mental ward.

Wow, I read the review and I was thinking : That would be the ideal solution to replace my old PC, still running XP SP1. Yes, SP1. The issue is I lost the packaging with the XP CD so I no longer have my product license key. Microsoft therefore considers me as a pirate!
Argh, argh, captain! This new unit would turn my life around by making me legit again! I will finally be able to install software that requires minimum SP2 (which is like, 99.9% of softwares out there). With WIN 7 that won’t be an issue anymore!

So go ahead, make my day, argh, argh!

I am absolutely amazed at this computer! I love the fact that YOU choose what to download. Nothing worse than buying a PC with all this extra crap downloaded already on it! I am also so very impressed at the space saving with this computer! I had a HP laptop that died after only 16 months and refuse to buy another one after all the money I spent in it. This computer would make life so much easier in so many ways! I work online all day and have been looking at many new models out there and this one at the moment has caught my eye and now I’m looking twice, wait no three times! lol

This computer would be perfect in the kitchen for us. We would use it for recipes, but more importantly, we would use it for Sesame Street youtube clips to entertain the children while dinner is being prepared (or while we’re trying to get anything done). I just may buy one regardless :) .

Im moving to a new apt and it very small and all in computer with help with the space. My computer now uses so much space. if i had this one i could have a smaller desk. I would love to start a blog and a new computer would help. I computer now is not touch screen and i would love one that is.

My current desktop computer is very old and slow. I have a review blog, but I am constantly getting kicked off the our laptop as I try to update it and add content so my children can do “homework”. They take their time doing their “homework” (which of course includes updating their facebook pages and chatting with friends) and I am stuck on our very old, very slow desktop. So if I won I would be able to use a new fast machine and be more productive.

The Lenovo A70z all-in-one would be a great addition to any business because these save space and consume less energy than standard desktops. Hopefully that will result in more productivity and lowered costs. Personally, I think these are also great for home users too – you can keep it in a kitchen and out of reach from kids and /or pets (like large dogs). Less cables for the dogs to chew up = less downtime!

I like computers and I need a new one. Okay, okay…really, since I am having to run with my tail between my legs back to my old house, where my spacious office space now will be turned into my 3×2′ closet back home in my master bedroom, where I will be working between my smelly running shoes and the two dresses that still fit me, it would be rad to be able to hang! my! monitor! on! the! wall! behind said dresses, so then it can ‘look’ like I just have a regular closet. You know…then when really important people come over, they won’t feel so sorry for me. ;)

Oh, and I love you more than anyone else on here. No, really I do!

xoxo smooches and kisses.

We have been desperately trying to put our lives back together after a 3 year depression spiral on his part and a matching manage-what-I-can-keep-my-head-out-of-the-darkdark-waters fight for me. We have paper everywhere, computers that have been more dusted than used and a too small desk for all that stuff. This space saver would force us to start organizing that desk. It would be the kick in the pants we need. (Or it would find its way to the kitchen walls where I pretend to be a baker.)

Seriously, I just wish I had a computer that was reliable. I currently own a laptop that decides when it wants to comply with my commands. The majority of my blogging is done on my computer at work. I blog about being a working mom, but blogging from work is probably a little extreme… :)

I would give this to my husband. He is a blogger and I would love to create a peaceful place for him to write and to have a desktop of his own. Mushy, yes…but he is so worth it.

My company office space is very limited since our company downsized, and moved to a smalled office. With all the clutter that is around, it decreases productivity by a whole lot! With this new computer, it could save everyone some space, and increase our sales.

Oh my gosh! This would do wonders for my family and for my dreams of starting a business (An etsy shop–really! You said it, but I’m really dreamin’ it!). We live in a small 1-bedroom condo with our 1 1/2 year old and space is super tight enough as it is. Our dinosaur of a PC takes up way to much room, and organizing around it is a nightmare. Winning this would CHANGE our lives and get me motivated in the right direction. Thank you for the opportunity.

Well, let me tell you that my living space where my computer is so small that if I put my arms out to my side I could probably almost touch both walls. lol. Really small. Being able to put the screen on the wall would be a dream come true. I get giddy thinking of it. Although I just write a small blog, having this computer would make my life so much simpler in that I would want to spend more time on the computer doing my blog and maybe starting another. What I would like in a computer that I do not have now is a computer that is user-friendly. Where I don’t need a Masters to figure it out.

Thanks so much for this fantastic giveaway

My entry is basic. I have 6 kids, 12,11,10,8,6 and a new born. The oldest 5 all need computers for school work, never mind the desire to use it for pleasure. I have a 5 year old lap top for my use and a 7 year old almost dead Dell for the kids. More and more I have to give up the laptop to the kids.
Do I have to tell that the fighting over computer time to driving crazy. So for the sanity of this over stressed Mom I would like you to consider this entry.

My husband sells dice cups for a game named “Warhammer” on ebay, he just started selling key chains as well. He has been using our laptop so far, but it is on the fritz and not very convenient, everytime he wants to print something out he has to unplug it, run to the printer (because our battery is dead, so we have to run to the other room where the printer is to plug it in before it dies) to print. we cannot shut it down anymore, it will barely power on again for some reason. I have been trying to get into ebay and etsy sales myself with sewing and scrapbooking projects, and having a space saving computer would help me have more room on my desk.

I’m starting a training program geared towards teachers – how to use technology to more effectively teach. This unit would allow me to develop trainings and move it with to the training sites. MOre power to show things than a laptop and even serve as a wireless server to connect laptops for the teachers.

My “business” at this point is basic editing photos to keep grandmas happy, writing my blog, and publishing a monthly newsletter for my mom’s club. But I have dreams of getting PhotoShop and learning how to use it – really use it. And of starting an anon blog. And of revamping the mom’s club newsletter. A new computer might inspire me.

Because i wanna win somthin once

For me, my blogs are businesses (and pleasure most days) and this computer would be incredibly helpful for me because my office also happens to be my bedroom. I need a computer that will not only be as fully functional as a desktop but will only use up the space of a laptop. Of course it would be nice being able to put it in places that my sticky fingered toddlers can’t reach too.

Having and using the Lenovo A70z would be so beneficial to our business. My husband and I are currently working on opening a care home for developmentally disabled adults. Although the home itself is very large, the space for the office is actually just a corner area in the living room. Of course we have to have a computer for the business as there are lots of notes, reports, care plans, objective data collection sheets and so forth that need to be produced. I definitely want to make the best most efficient use of this small office space and I certainly don’t want it to look cluttered. Therefore, the Lenovo A70z would be the perfect computer for our particular business situation. One thing that I wish my computer could do now that would make my life easier would be if it could send and receive documents as a fax. Because in the care home business,we have a lot of documents that we need to fax to different people for signature and we also fax to different doctors needed client info and requests for new orders.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win

Such a fantastic giveaway! My current computer is a netbook. It just can’t do all of the things that I need it to do. I have huge dreams of starting an amazing blog for all of my family to read, but I have a major problem with editing photos on this netbook. Something else that I would love to do is edit family videos – there is no way that I could do that on this netbook. The Lenovo A70z, however, would be a perfect start for me to do this. And I haven’t even mentioned the work related things that I have to use this netbook for. Let’s just say that everything takes 10x as long as it should. So, this computer would make my life much simpler as well as make me so much more productive. Thanks so much for the chance! :)

This Lenovo would be a big plus for me in managing, editing, and storing my years’ worth of photo collection …kids, gardening, plants, and also would be very helpful in organizing all of my school projects, research, and writing for the last few years. I especially like the compactness of this system, knowing that my desk area could be utilized for ongoing schoolwork.

But I *do* need a new computer. Mine is 8 years old and is v*e*r*y S*L*O*W. I use a dial-up connection so I usually have a book with me. I recently got a Flip video and would love to use this new machine to make some neat CDs for my mother of her grandkids. Thanks for the contest.

Not being the best of cooks, but having to cook often for dietary restriction reasons, I frequently turn to the computer for recipes or suggestions on how to make something I usually look stuff up BEFORE I start, but not always. Or sometimes I look things up and if I don’t print it out (expensive and wasteful), I have to run back to it. Unfortunately I sometimes run back to look up something and accidentally get sidetracked. In the midst of cooking, this isn’t always ideal.

In reading the reviews of the Lenovo A70z and assessing my kitchen layout, I think that it would fit nicely attached to my kitchen wall. Then I could use it to look up recipes at whim and if I got sidetracked, at least I would still be in the same room as whatever I am trying to cook. I also think that the Lenovo would be nice to have to watch or listen to downloads while doing food prep. It may make it far less tedious.

Thanks for offering this contest. Good luck to everyone!

I have been into photography for years. Having the space and means to organize and edit would be beyond helpful.

Also, you know, it would help with school which plays a bit of a role in my future. :)

This would be great for helping me to take my freelance PR business to the next level. A reliable computer would do wonders for helping me keep my blog and business in order.

Id like to win it cuz ive only got one computer and my sister uses the computer a lot. So i like to have my own computer to surf the net

My boyfriend could use this at his used car sales business and he could finally start and operate a website and advertise more often and in more places as his business has suffered due to the poor economy.

I really want to make my art my life and a good computer could get me closer to doing that. I’m sorry if this rambles but here’s were I am:

I had a web site two years ago, then we bough a house, the economy fell down and I let it lapse. Now I have a studio again, my kiln has electricity and I’m trying to restart my website, with a few major problems.

Our house was broken into this past February they took all the electronic. Most importantly for the studio they took my lovely 8mp digital camera and all my memory cards. They did not take the crappy computer. While we have insurance it was an old camera and the insurance company is not your friend. So not have a computer, I got in while I was still in collage (I graduated 5 years ago) its blown one fan already, it shuts off at will and you can run photoshop elements but only if your feeling very zen with the world and do not have a history of high blood pressure or heart problems, and it still makes a lawn mower noise. Its going to die I need to replace it and I need to get a new camera and I only have the money to do one of these things and the anxiety hamsters that live in my head do not help.

One way or another I’ll get everything together but a new computer would make thing easier

some in progress shot of work from my old studio when it was a friend garage, (now up graded to my own porch)

Unfortunately all my shots of finished work were on the stolen memory cards and I have no camera to take new ones :/

I’m currently finishing up pre-reqs to get into PA school and in the interest of not being in debt for the rest of my life, I’ve moved into a studio to be able to pay for my tuition as I go. This space saving computer would be extremely helpful since my old dinosaur (Laptop) has a sticky touch mouse pad that sometimes makes me wonder if it would go with me all the way during this journey?… Thank you for the opportunity & God Bless u!

After a house fire (electrical) that my computer took the brunt of and Insurance won’t cover, a new computer would be fantastic to continue running our business. Mine now is on its last leg – hellooo blue screen of death 20 times per day – hard to run a company. A new computer would continue to feed my kiddos in the most basic of ways :)

I am a photographer and run my own business from home. Obviously, a good computer is a vital part of that business as I need to keep up with clients, schedule meetings and photo shoots, and edit images. However, I have VERY LITTLE space for my office-set up as my husband and I just moved into a tiny one-bedroom apartment because he has temporarily been stationed at an air force base here in Texas. We opted to go small because we don’t know how long we will be here, and then we’ll be off again. With all of the moving around we do, and the limited space I often have to work in, a computer such as this would be a dream come true!!!

The sleek, modern and clean design would leave a little room on my small desk for family pictures. Sometime you just need a reason to sit at that desk for hours and pictures of the kids having fun will help do that.

This space saving computer would allow me to start my own business. I unfortunately have been out of work for awhile and if I had this computer it would certainly be a major help in getting my business off the ground. My office space at home is incredibly small so the space saver would be a blessing

calvins.address@gmail.com

I run a blog as well as doing freelance web design and production. I have also used my computer for volunteer work in the past, helping design newsletter templates and updating web graphics. Since my main computer went out, I have been using my Mother-In-Laws old desktop PC in our baby’s room. I don’t have room for a full size office, but with the lenovo I wouldn’t need as much space. I could finish redecorating the baby’s room (minus the computer) and set up a small workstation in our bedroom.

Um, I never win anything…but, thought I would at least try…doesn’t hurt right? I don’t have a “business”…other than running our household…you know, pay bills, keep things in order, raise a 2yo and the little one in my belly! I love our mac, just wish I knew a bit more about it. We just moved from a 3 br, 1600 sf home to a 2 br, 1000 sf apt…so, needless to say even though we are increasing our family size…we’ve decreased in space due to this lovely economy…enough said. In our new 2 br apt…we do not lack wall space!!! Would love to win!! Love your blog…we live in Eville, grew up in Btown, went to school in INDY love your blog!!!

Mac person here too. While one can doctor up Mac browsers to spoof Windows, it’s not the same as checking websites in the intended OS. Sadly, some designers aren’t terribly ecumenical, so I need Windows – and this Lenovo – to see them properly.

Have been checking out your blog since I discovered it through the Lenovo link, and I’m liking what I see.

I’m entering on behalf of my wife who sews and quilts for commission.

She is endlessly pilfering my laptop to use for her sewing work (as it is a portable machine which she can bring to her while she dwells in her sewing area downstairs) and a slim machine like this is perfect for her limited space on her sewing tables, while the wireless connection means that she will have instant access to our network and the internet.

Thanks for the opportunity to share and to win!

A new computer would mean faster input. I share my home computer (which I use for household financials, organization, planning and entertainment) with my husbands work! Our old comp is slow and bulky and my hubbies stuff takes up a ton of room. Anything to space save and work faster would be awesome!

I help train people to use reconditioned computers. It’s not actually a business, as it volunteer work. This desktop would replace a 10 year old Dell desktop that’s now running Ubuntu. The Dell takes up so much room in my kitchen, this would be perfect!

I wish my computer would play HD video. It’s really old and slow, so I can’t watch lots of stuff online.

Oh, wow, thanks for doing this amazing giveaway!

I would love to win this for my husband, who just started his own law practice. He is using the same laptop he bought when he started law school in 2004, which was the most basic $300 Dell he could find–it was just for taking notes and typing papers at the time. Well now he is a Real Attorney, and that laptop is SO. SLOW. But after shelling out big bucks for malpractice insurance and all the other fees that go along with starting a law practice, he doesn’t have money to buy a new computer yet. He got his official paperwork back a couple weeks ago and just got his first client today, so we’re hoping this is a sign of good things and more business, for which he could really use a computer that doesn’t take 20 minutes just to load Windows!

My wife and I had an etsy store awhile back. Things were going well until both of our computers crashed and weren’t fixable. We can’t afford a new computer so we are using a cheap little laptop to get online. The screen is shot so we have to hook it to a monitor at all times. It’s linux and we have no clue how to do anything with it and every time we try we have to factory reset because we mess it up. Oh, and there is no photo editing to be had on the thing at all, which is a huge part of selling online (and the main reason we can’t anymore). Pretty much? The current laptop is a piece of junk, so winning this ThinkCentre would be amazing.

I don’t have a business, but I do a lot of work at home, involving editing of big spreadsheets, scheduling my subordinates, and creating architectural models. All of which, I can and do do today on my very capable tablet PC (HP tx2z). However, it is all very painful on the tiny 12 inch screen. Yes, an external monitor could help, but honestly it wouldn’t be convenient, with all the wires, and having to plug/unplug the tablet frequently. Plus, if I had a all-in-one like this, I could very well leave my tablet at work, making my life there easier, as well as not having to commute with the tablet.

Also, we have 4 laptops (including my tablet) in all in our home. 1 is locked-down by my dad’s employer. The other two are half-broken or plain too old and I can’t put Windows 7 on them. Which results in a frustrating experience for my mother regularly. So, this would make a great family computer and allow homegroup networking.

We are in the middle of
resupplying, and setting up
a new shelter in our town. Being a non-profit, means
limited space for computers
and limited budget, this would
pc would help immensely with
both. Thanks.

I covet that computer So.Much. For many reasons, here are a few:

I’m a grad student, which translates into hours spent at my refurbished computer that thankfully keeps chugging along. Slowly, but still chugging. I’m so afraid that it will croak any day now.

I work from home, which requires a computer. I’ve actually had to turn jobs down because for whatever reason, my old and sluggish pc would not work with the company software. This is my only income, so I depend on my computer. We are all in trouble if it dies.

I have two teenagers. Unlike when I was in middle and high school (the dark ages), they actually need to use the computer quite a bit for their own school work. There have been times when my pc was in the shop and we had to beg friends to let us come over and use their computers. We are not too proud to do that, but it’s really inconvenient and sometimes, there is no one around to “borrow” computer time from. Yikes!

So my whole family could really benefit from a new – working! – computer. Great giveaway, thanks!

I want to write. I LIVE TO WRITE. My space to write? Dwindling. I am a nomad writer, forced from space to space by piles of laundry, buckets of matchbox cars, bags of cabbage patch clothes. I need ease and space saving technology I can travel about my house with as I search for the next moment of peace.

Forgive me if this is closed. I didn’t see an ending date!

I have been freelance writing lately, so I guess that makes me my own business. But my computer is old and firefox has been handling the website I work for really strangely. It may be time to upgrade so I can actually finish things efficiently

I already have a pretty nice gaming system I built myself so I will be giving this to my mom who is using my hand me down dell which is very old and slow. She is a computer technician yet she uses a crappy computer which is sad. She likes using my PC a lot so getting this for her would definitely make my life easier!

Their are 6 of us in my family with one desktop PC to share. This makes for some interesting *conversation* lol. I will be starting Homeschooling for the first time this year and am doing this with my old, cheap and not-so reliable PC. The Lenovo ThinkCentre would definitely reduce a ton of clutter by freeing up some much needed desk space in my “make-shift” home office. The reduction in wires alone makes me want to jump for joy. I have to spend at least 5 minutes trying to figure out what is plugged into what. This would eliminate some of that mess.
I wish the computer I had now would store all the info. I need it to without running slow or freeze up. My PC now is used at least 8 hours a day and has to be restarted at least 3 times a day to keep from freezing up.
Thank you for this awesome opportunity to win one.

Truth? I doubt I’d get to use it for ANYTHING income-producing, unless we’re thinking very, VERY long term. It would be a family computer, used primarily by my kids for homework (and probably a game or two!), thus furthering their education, and future mom-supporting earning opportunities!
That said, I would guess a blog post or two would flow from it’s keyboard. Just a theory.

WOW! That is a great computer! I would adore having a computer that takes up less space, hanging it on the wall! Yes, please! My tiny 900sq ft house needs less furniture in it.

I have a little business, and a little blog that could benefit from having a computer that works really well, our current one doesn’t do so hot.

Also, we are homeschooling our daughter, and this would be a great tool to use in the “classroom”, something streamlined, easy to use and without all the extra cords.

I own a family restaurant and I have to say my current laptop has given me nothing but frustration. As it is the case with most restaurants, I have a lot of receipts and accounting that I need to maintain in proper order. However, my 5 year old Acer laptop has become increasingly unreliable. Often, while in the middle of using Excel, it would literally freeze. To prevent data loss, I have to constantly save my data every few minutes. So if I were to win this new computer, it would save me a lot of trouble doing the bookkeeping and free me more time so I could focus more on expanding my business.

I run a small restaurant with a very small office. Since there’s no tower and separate speakers on the Lenovo A70z, it’s going to save enough space on my desktop to put a copier/printer/fax machine next to it

I don’t have a business, but my 18mo laptop has been having battery, sound, and motherboard issues already, and I’d like to have a computer that worked and didn’t threaten to lose all my photos of my family. I’d love to be able to watch videos of them and manage every family stuff.

My son is at the age where he’s using the computer more for school, and this would give him more space for the keyboard by being able to put the monitor on the wall. We’d all be able to share it so much easier. The Lenovo A70z would allow us to save desk space as opposed to our current desktop and laptop setup. This looks so perfect!

We have one computer at home, which is my work computer. And I have to work at night quite a bit. Which means that if I get up from the computer for ONE MINUTE it gets stolen by my better half to check email, sour Ebay for priceless relics or upload photos. Which I understand, but ugh. Also, we are TV free (not by choice, but by untimely TV death) and it would be pretty sweet to view movies on something larger than my 15 inch laptop screen!

My husband and I have just started a property development business. Our present computer was a spur of the moment purchase by my husband because the “price was so good”. (Translation = S..L..O..W) We really need a computer that is fast and compact….(office is the kitchen table…this beautiful computer fits the bill!!!)

I need this computer because this will be great for my school work[projects/essays/etc]also this not only benifits be but my family, My sister can also use it for school… Anyways I wish my current computer is faster… seriously my computer is super slow and its like my computer teamed up with dial up and its about 9yrs old because im just a teen and cant afford to buy a new one… anyways thatnks.

I desperately need this computer! My current computer is an old Dell still running Windows XP & it has a DVD Rom problem where the drive wont open and it is slow as molasses, It’s our home internet wi-fi provider and we can’t setup a netwrok that can share printers because there’s something wrong? with it, but we can share internet. This computer will solve all of our problems and headaches at my house.

Doing daytrading as primary income, I need a computer with top performance. The
ThinkCentre A70z All-in-one PC can certainly handle the fast pace of daytrading. Plus, the space I save on my desk I can afford to put a TV next to it (so I can watch CNBC)

I’d love to take my photography habit to the next level, and I think having the computer wall-mounted would be awesome for visualizing how best to work with a photo. It would be like seeing it framed already! Cool…

Oh how I would love to win this baby. I love photography and my current PC is just not equipped to handle the magnitude of pictures. I’ve also heard amazing things about Windows 7 but #1 is the ability to hang.it.on.a.wall? I simply cannot tell you how this would eliminate the constant abuse our current PC (all components) takes from three children! It would be such awonderful addition to our family!
