It stinks to get started on a book that looks good but really isnt.I still have to finish it so I can figure out what happens. Cant handle not knowing. Memory Keeper's Daughter very slow and difficult to finish. Although it had a thought provoking tale. The Glass Castle (haven't finished it yet) so interesting that you have to finish it. People really are like that? Jodi Picoult Books are amazing. One of those authors that I want to collect every book she puts out. I have a confession though. I hate going to the library. I don't like to wait on a book I want to read. And then I feel to pressured to finish it by the due date. I have to buy my books. Very bad habit. Please tell me im not alone. If the book is good I keep it. If it isn't good I give it away for someone else to decide. Buying books is a compulsion I can't control. Im addicted. Thanks for all the reviews on these books. Here are some ideas from me: Janet Evanovich writes pretty clean books. The most offensive thing she's written would be some swear words. I enjoy her writing. It is light and fun. I really like all titles from Nelson DeMille (author)-- books about spies, espionage, etc. I'm actually reading Charlie Wilson's War right now. If you like documentary-like books it is good. Lots of unnecessary swearing though. Good luck on finding a truly CLEAN book though. There should be a book rating system or something! I guess it depends on what genre of books you enjoy.
